ERIC! You young whipper-snapper! I know spring is a very busy time of the year for y'all but I need more, a lot more! Some of your videos are perfect! I can almost smell the manure or the silage..... (weird right?) I left our farm in 1974 at the age of 17 (joined the Marines) and never went back. I go back to Jefferson County now to see my family and my best friend but I really miss the work and the smells (some more pleasant than others). I can't wait till you are moved into your house, I realize it must have been hard to rip down the old one to replace with a newer more efficient one but it was the right thing to do. I am glad you put the new right where the old was, it shows a real continuity that i am sure your ancestors appreciate......

Been shopping for a new mower myself.. Both the Toros are nice, and they appear to have the Kohler engines 👍 which is key. Leaning towards a SCAG or Grasshopper, but definitely worth going commercial if your mowing more than a couple acres.

Recommend putting that roll bar down, if not on a steep slope ive found them to be more dangerous than anything. Go around a tree and forget its up, take branches off right onto your head.

Question from a city boy for you. I've noticed when you're planting seed that you only fill the forward bins on the planter and not the back row. Just curious why that is? 9:00 seems like a lot of fertilizer is being applied considering a seed is placed every foot or so. I would guess an upgrade will be coming soon given the high cost of fertilizer but just a guess..
