Actually quite a tidy vehicle for a 1990ish. It’ll clean up a treat and be fit for many miles yet. I’ve had landrovers of various types over the years, people slag them off but I’ve covered well over 1m miles and only had a cylinder head gasket and an air compressor go on them but I put that down to obsessive tinkering and maintaining.

The most grip on the Defender's tyres would be to have them the same direction as on your tractor.

I looked at those packages for my truck but couldn’t afford new rims as well 🙈. Loving the bit of OCD though, I’d have just got in a drove... till one of my mates would have pointed it out 🤪🙂. She’s coming along nicely though 👍

Watch when you bang your impact on the ground, they don’t like being dropped and messes the bearing inside up. If you can buy a rubber boot for them

You need to swap opposite corners if you have one in each side pointing the wrong way.

If they are not stamped Sidewall Facing Outwards (which i didn't think they were), can't see they will be wrong. If they have white letters on the tyres you will end up with the white letters outside on one side of the vehicle and not the other, if you change them, but that's your choice.

should have put both passenger side wheels on the back and the driver's side wheels on the front and then they would have matched up fine I think

While mentioning they’re 265/75r16s do you happen to know what width rims you got as looking at a set of black modular wheels for mine-they look the business. Don’t need a package as the tyres will be from someplace else

If you swap two tyres round on the rims, won’t you end up with two tyres showing white lettering and two that don’t? or don’t mud terrains have white lettering on one side? I know my all terrains do! 🤔🤔

I have the same wheel on my 110. You can pop those chrome studs out from the back with a hammer and small punch. Have a look at mine on Instagram @ Honcho55
