I’ve been working through your book for about 6 months now and have had the good fortune to work with an advanced Buddhist monk who also has been extremely helpful. I find your techniques are complementary to whatever else I am practicing, so there is no conflict. I’m in my 80s so time is limited and inducing the freeze response is the only technique that has really allowed me to experience a state where my overemphasised left brain is not overactive. As a Jungian psychologist I recognise this twilight state as kind of hypnogogic state. I can hold this in between state without falling asleep more easily in the morning than in the evening unsurprisingly, but the point is to practice being in that state as much as I can manage. I know I’m improving because I can stay in contact with present moment awareness much more than a few seconds at a time. I am becoming more aware of a strongly connected breath - perhaps the beginning of the tranquil breath. Nothing yet that I’d call the roll up, but doing OM chapa and double wave daily. In any case thank you for providing these foundational teachings so clearly and generously.

Thank you, Forrest, for this inspiration for the new year! I've been lapsing in Kriya yoga practice these past two weeks as I threw all my energies after work into a personal project. I notice I've become more restless and less able to do those simple things that bring well-being and comfort to my body and mind. This morning I woke up and did just a few kriyas. And the peace and centeredness came back 🪷 I have realized for some time now that I have no desire to make an otherworldly spirituality the central focus of my life after all. But my tiny meditation this morning and your video reminds me so powerfully that even a little Kriya makes for a firm foundation for a peaceful life in this physical realm. Wishing you and your family good health and lots of joy in 2024! ❤ from Limei

Grateful to have found your channel! Today, I got lost in meditation for the first time ever. I snapped out of it because I realized I wasn't following the Resonant Breathing app anymore. I couldn't get back to that state, but boy was it amazing! Anyway, I love your non-dogmatic approach to all things spiritual, and I was curious if you've ever come across Human Design or the Gene Keys? If you have, I'd love to hear your thoughts on those. Thanks!

Beautiful, Forrest! Omar Khayyam is one of my favorite poets. I won't waste my breath as he suggested and you help me cultivate. “Your hand can seize today, but not tomorrow; and thoughts of your tomorrow are nothing but desire. Don’t waste this breath, if your heart isn’t crazy, since "the rest of your life" won’t last forever.” Blessings and Blissings, and a Prosperous New Year!

I started having this happen by two weeks after a consistent meditation practice. And I have all the signs pretty much within a minute of even dropping my breath. However, that's really it. A lot of the same problems that I've had. Trying to figure out if it's actual medical problem. Which is like a year and a half in the progress and I still know nothing from their end. Of course. Do I get that roll off of consciousness every single time too. And it still kind of blows my mind if the Joppa at the end of the home really does seem to pop my attention into the center of my chakra. Still trying to figure out why that works like that. Thanks to you! I knew that these actually were for proofs. It's an intelligent way to help people learn this.

give it some time, better to look at things each three to six months, sometimes the change we want occurs very gradually, other times more rapid.

Om Forrest. Why do I need to have my eyebrows raised during Kriya sequence ? It doesn't help me during my practice at all , my head and neck hurt, and during paravastha it makes it difficult to go deep in silence and focus. There is no blessing but frustration while meditating.
@ForrestKnutson6 ай бұрын
You don't have to. Go ahead and relax your eyes. ;)
@Jestemobecny6 ай бұрын
@@ForrestKnutson Can I also omit the rolled-up tongue in the entire sequence? It doesn't help focus on practice either.
@ForrestKnutson6 ай бұрын
@@Jestemobecny yes. Relax both and then later see if it helps to reintroduce them. If it doesn't then continue to relax.
