nice out on the rack...lol I was passing through Nashville last week on Thursday night, on my way to Miami and stopped into 2 pool halls to shoot, MJ's and Wall Street pool hall......i was crossing my fingers hoping i would see u at wall street but didnt see u. They had leage up there so i just watched a few games and continued on my journey...lol. MJ's i got to shoot up there, that was a decent place aswell as Wall Street. i love finding different places to shoot when i travel! I will keep Racks in mind!

You probably already do this Mike but always play some racks of "Straight pool" just running the whole 15 rack at whatever ball you want for warmups. I tend to always do 2 max and I'm shooting well, I do as many racks as it takes till I'm loose and shooting 6-8 balls at a time then I do some against the ghost 8 ball or 9-10 ball rack runs!

Hey Mike I been watching for about a month now but I haven’t commented yet. I just wanted to say your videos are very pleasing to watch and your work is very clean! I’m a 22 year old photographer and I also play pool I’ve been playing since I was 6 years old. I play pretty well and study & practice the game religiously. Your game is pretty smooth bro they’re just little moments your fundamentals break down; but that’s all of us. The more you focus and work on your fundamentals it will continue to let you get better! One thing I saw with your stroke and when u do miss shots is your cue speed through the ball. Your speed must stay the same speed all the way through. Slow back, slight pause then smooth follow through. The short draws and poke strokes will all come with experience and practice but the main thing u need to work is the speed through the ball.

Seems like it's been too long since the last release. Really enjoying your videos, Mike. Wish this one was a little longer though. Would have loved to see from the start of your trip; maybe from where you are getting ready to leave the house. Also, I like to watch consecutive videos, but youtube does not do that automatically with your videos. Have you considered creating a playlist for that option? Would love that.

not extensively. Before I started sharing them on KZbin that was the whole purpose of filming the match in the first place. Thanks for asking. It helps me remember why I started 🙏🏾

Also I feel like you have a dominant eye issue. If you pick a spot on the wall across your pool hall. Make a small triangle with your hands while looking at the spot through the triangle then close your left eye; If now u don’t see the spot and you’re just looking at your hand you are left eye dominant because once you close your right eye you will see directly through the triangle and see the spot you originally picked. Now comes adjusting it to your game. Some pros that are left eye dominant main example being Albin Ouschan, you’ll see albin with his cue directly under his left eye and when doing that you will feel that your stroke is super straight because of the alignment with your eye. Slowly work towards moving your cue under which ever eye is your dominant eye and you will start to see a lot of progress. This was a tip I learned that has changed my game and shot making.

I feel like I adjusted pretty quickly! I think these were oversized 8 footers. I played a few more racks after this one and all in all it was a decent session!! Thanks for chiming in my friend!
