My mom lived there. There’s crazy people in all 50 states but there’s something wrong with this man, and it seems self induced whether he is faking it or actually on something. Brian from the reptarium did a video with him and looked pretty uncomfortable and didn’t know how to act around him. I could only watch a few of this guys videos. The problem is the FWC is a corrupt organization thats part of our rotting government. When they took away the iguanas that were in 'neglected conditions' they in turn put them in a compartment baking in the sun, hogtied with duck tape. America's government is a sh_thole. Anyone who's an OG follower from when Chandler really was just an animal loving kid who wanted to work with reptiles/conservation (back when he was still working with McCarthy's Wildlife) could see clear as day what happened with him if you just follow the patterns lmao Donny kinda hit the nail on the head when he talked about Chandler's channel "peaking" a few years ago... If you literally look at key points in his timeline his descending behavior matches *perfectly* 💯 When he was at McCarthy's getting his hours under solid mentorship and his channel was rapidly _growing_ you see his best version of himself... Then Kevin single-handedly launches Chandler's channel into the million+ subs & 6 figure income realm, generated solely by channel metrics. At this time he's high energy but nothing "abnormal" as he's growing into his role as host for a huge viewership... Also during this "time of plenty" he rapidly expands his collection in both size and level of advanced care/upkeep cost... This is where his tunnel vision on just "enthusiastically appreciating the animals" backfires; because he had compounding circumstances of: 1. Kevin's novelty wearing off thus he no longer fueled sub growth/views on his presence alone. 2. Chandler neglected the business aspect of setting up sponsors to capitalize on his million+ sub channel (many large channels have disclosed their metrics, all of which stated that at that level they make *more* from sponsors than ad revenue) 3. Partially tying in with previous statement, sponsors are not just good for direct $ flow but reptile company sponsors could've *significantly* reduced his cost through endorsements for supplies/cages/feeders which he neglected while using his ad rev to pay those expenses out of pocket... and simultaneously he also didn't put enough effort into _being a youtuber_ at this time (learning the algorithm w/ titles & thumbnails etc. Creating alternate $ flow through merch/tours/etc & not prioritizing boosting engagement and whatnot) 4. All that being said even as his view counts slipped well below the projections for a channel his size, he still hadn't exhausted his funds as he didn't spend on any of the typical luxuries that typically put people beyond their means when they have $ for the 1st time, only spending on his collection... problem is that also meant he never felt any urgency over his falling numbers 💯 Back to the timeline, this is when Chandler made the purchase that would open his eyes to his channels sub-par performance; the new property! It seems as if he was confident in rapidly creating his "reptile park" which would he was counting on bouncing his channel back to peak #'s as well as providing income from foot traffic. Hi Donny,something that people rarely talk about are herp societies. I feel like in conjunction with usark joining and being active in a Herp society is so important. I see them as a bridge between hobbyists and the wildlife biologist. Many of which might go on to get jobs with the department of fish and wildlife. I seems like people don’t understand the importance of a local herp society. I know that would probably be a less sensational video and get low views and maybe you don’t even agree with me. I find Chandler's videos entertaining but the guy is reckless AF. The croc video made me stop watching regularly not just because of his negligence but also because he was acting like a macho child right after the bite. It just seems like whenever there is a crowd around him that he wants to show how tough he is. Same thing with the cobra bite. I've never been a fan of his because he does tend to be over the top and sensational, and I'm not really into venomous that much. But I try to watch Florida people since I live in Florida. I don't really know what he's like off camera, but on he seems to be getting more spastic- is it just helping his views? I only met him once briefly and unexpectedly at a show. I didn't even want to see the video when it posted saying he got bit by a croc... i knew it was going to be bad but I had to see what happened. That was just utter stupid getting in water with zero visibility with an angry croc. There were several people I respect there, and I'm actually not sure why they even allowed it to happen, or if he just stubbornly did it. I don't know what happened off camera. And then him going back to try to finish things- he did NOT look good, he was pale, he should have sat down because he was a liability in that state. If his permits are in hot water after this, it's his fault. He does do some good work, he has a great property and is in position to help with conservation. But he also does some questionable stuff. Florida isn't the place to be doing anything questionable. Most of the reptile folks are a big circle of friends who do a lot of crossover, so it reflects badly on everyone.

We are hobby/industry advocates and MASSIVE supporters of USARK & USARK Florida. This video is intended to educate people about the growing challenges Florida keepers have with very unpleasant new rule changes and the future listing of very commonly kept reptile species. Chandler spoke out against USARK and misinformed his audience regarding factual information that myself/NERD and USARK is spreading. I was very frustrated to see this level of misinformation being spread so we had to set the record straight. A notable correction was Chandler claiming I said there was not a population of African Rock Pythons In Florida. This is FOOLISH and I am fully aware there is one, I said there is NOT a pop. of South African Rock Pythons but they were actually banned anyways. It is very sad to use one untruth after another to confuse people about very serious problems. This misinformation hurts the Florida keepers and costs USARK valuable support that is truly needed. I am not a USARK board member but work closely with them and have the heart of a hobbyist so I will fight(for free no Less) onward as I’ve done. For the record, let this information we provided here stand and in the future what we are saying is factual and insightful while Chandler speaks without facts and words of hope. The future for some may price quite challenging. I do hope none of my predictions actually come true as there are many wonderful keepers that will suffer greatly. I work with herps in a zoological facility, including crocodilians, and what I really cannot fathom is why Everglades Outpost allowed not only Chandler’s actions but also him to post a video of him getting injured at their facility. That is not a good look either. Though I don’t work directly with venomous snakes, (I do spot our venomous team while they work tho) I literally cannot watch Chandler’s videos due to his behavior around his venomous collection. It makes me nervous as a viewer! He is way to nonchalant and willing to show close calls or put himself in situations where close calls can more easily arise all for views. Despite his popularity, it is clear he isn’t a good role model for his younger audience. I do a lot of public animal education at my job and I always internally cringe when kids mention they watch him to me while I am showing them a reptile, and I am always like “yeah and do you watch Snake Discovery or Clint’s Reptiles too?” 🙃🙃

Welp here’s another troll that doesn’t actually watch his videos .. he’s extremely safe with them he’s also showing people these animals are not out there to get you . A reason he can do these things with them is because he’s a skilled handler …… also their is a reason he hasn’t been bit it’s not just he’s lucky … this crock crap on here is so disgusting why don’t you go watch chandlers video see how and why it happened and why he got into the water … also theirs a video on how the crock is which is a good crock . Lastly he’s in his 20s loving life he used to be a firefighter acts just like one too I would know because I am one .
