Kneale doesn't know what he is talking about. Find another "expert". I AM a small business man who actually does business, and who actually has paid a fortune in tariffs, and who was damaged financially by the first tariffs, and who actually has agonized over increasing prices to our customers, and actually does understand the chilling effect to business of creating this sea of financial uncertainty. I can barely keep my brain in my skull listening to these expert commentaries. My guess is that most businesses who depend on imports are already raising prices based on all this tariff talk. Why? Because they cannot take the risk of getting blind sided again, and spending the next year trying to recover financially. The idea that we can just switch supply chains at the drop of hat is pure ignorance. If we want to move manufacturing back here it will take decades. I'm not fundamentally opposed to tariffs if administered properly, but the way this is being handled demonstrates unbelievable ignorance.
