This man is so far up his own backside that he should be removed from office AND prevented from ever holding office again, his personal views are just that, personal, and should remain private, but as an elected official he isn’t there to follow his own opinions or beliefs he is there to represent the collective opinions and beliefs of the community and whatever his thoughts are, as soon as he put them on social media, they become public interest and a conflict of interests. Unfortunately the video doesn’t go on to show the outcome of the issue but I hope he was forced to resign and learn a very valuable lesson, a lesson all elected officials should remember, YOU SERVE AT THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE, and those who put you in a position of trust and authority can just as soon remove you from that position.

What are the odds of you being let off the hook for a crime you committed coming from a rich white family versus a poor black family who lives in the shitty ghetto part of town. Whether you like it or not, people treat others differently based on who they are, what they look like, and even how much money they have. Not just in schools or the justice system, but in every aspect of life. People are biased and that's a fact, and that bias gives certain people more "privilege" than others. Cops are inclined to believe adults than children, but why? Because cops are biased and believe adults are the more responsible people, so why would adults lie? Cheat? Hurt? Your appearance, age, wealth, race, abilities, all play a factor in how people treat you. And that treatment can be a privilege or a burden. In the case of a white straight man you're more likely to be treated fairly and nicely than most other minorities. So don't tell me this kind of privilege doesn't exist. It does, and it's people that choose to ignore these differences that allow this country, and this world, to fall into the steep hole of bigotry, inequality, unjustly, rigorous systems we have today.
