I have the same brush and if you first use the pumis stone on the grates it will bring the finish back. then when ever you use the grill use the steamer brush after you finish using the grill.

@@DrBDIY It worked great. I like heating my grill to where the food & grease turns into ashes. That makes it easier to clean.
