Like Erik says, believe the target! They’re not some magic wand that will turn any gun into a precision rifle, but, for me, they make load development a lot easier.

There are two styles of tuners ; one that fits on the end of the barrel and one that fits over the barrel. EC tuner/brakes fit on the end of the barrel and Harrels tuner/brakes fit over the barrel for example. Only difference is when a tuner is on the end of the barrel it only takes an 1/8th of a turn to adjust the tuner whereas if the tuner is over the barrel it takes a full revolution to adjust the tuner. I prefer a full revolution just in case the tuner moves a little on it's own when shooting.

6 ARC is what my AR/Hunter tuner brake is on as well. 💪

I have a gen2 tuner brake on my 25 PRC, gen2 tuners on mt 25 creedmoor and 22lr. I don’t know if they’re statistically effective, but I believe my targets.

Do it all 3 of my ARCs have one and it has made load development some much easier

I would be curious if the turner moves after shooting 10 plus rds
@jeremys836010 ай бұрын
Could you try them on an ar in 5.56 and see if it’s possible to make cheap/bulk ammo shoot good? Or even to find something that shoots pretty good and make it shoot lights out
@RobsReloading10 ай бұрын
I used the gen 1 on my mossberg and it produced a group much better than that rifle normally produced. You have to know however this tuner isn't going to take a 3 moa rifle and turn it into a half. This was really designed to find tune loads.

@@RobsReloading I have an Anderson am-15 and I was mostly curious to see if the adjustment of the tuner would get lost in the statistical noise of what provides accuracy to an ar I.e, the gas system, the bcg, buffer spring and weight etc

Save your money and learn to reload. That’s going to give you far better results than a tuner if you’re shooting cheap ammo. It keeps the cost the same while getting far more consistent results. That’s my opinion. A tuner helps but it’s not voodoo magic.

Hey Rob could you do a follow up video of using the 3 port tuner brake please!

My plan is to test the smaller tuner tomorrow. So video will be out in a week or so

On the Gen 1 mounted on my 6ARC AR the tension screws didn't hold up and the tuner would get loose. I removed it and has been collecting dust.👎

If you don't want it send it over to someone who will use it.

I listened too it. My experience has not matched theirs. I however don't necessarily feel 20-30 shot groups are practical for most shooters.

You should give the old one away to some lucky viewer. Yeah they work, but you have to be diligent and run the gammit, or you'll never really find out what it's really.
