Hey man was thinking the same thing...i really like that open flame vent that the traeger doesnt have. But what if u just remove the grease catcher for a few minutes and let the open flame on the meat , will it really hurt anything?? I mean the meats cooked at this point, not much more grease.

It would have been nice if they would throw the lid out and standardize on the tall lid for taller food. My issue was with a turkey.

Uh that looks rad! Gonna look into this cause I have been thinking of a small smoker for my camping trips. I’ve got a Green Mountain Davy Crockett and love it, but it’s too big still for putting in the back of the car.

Is the AS350 smaller than the AS300? I was told the AS300 was 24.8" wide, 17.52" from front to back and 14.45" high. (You mentioned 14" front to back) That would make a huge difference for my storage area. I want to keep it in my RV toolbox. I made up a mock up box the same size as ASMOKE sent me and it was too large. Your measurements let it fit in. Thanks for letting me know what the real size is. I can adjust it for the handles, I suspect that is why Asmoke gave the larger size.

That "flavor pan" has me sold. It was a struggle trying to put a small foil tray inside the smoker 😂 quality is better than the as300. If you don't have a portable smoker , BUY IT.

That’s pretty dang cool. I’ll have to look into one for travel cooking. I just added a lavalock felt gasket to my Traeger lid so it’s nice this one already has that.

Can you line the dome and drip pans with foil (shiny side up), for easy cleanup?

Asmoke USA LLC. has a Better Business Bureau rating of "F". This rating is because of customer service. My new 350 came without the plate that is used with other brands of pellets. Called, no answer, tried to chat, no response, emailed, got a response TEN DAYS LATER. They act like they cannot understand me and send me emails that make no sense. They told me to return the grill to retailer, and buy another one with a plate. Not sure what this plate cost them, But I believe this is a terrible way to treat customers. IF you buy this grill, understand you have no warranty and no customer service.
