So glad I went with this after upgrading to the CSL LC pedals. This thing is super solid. And the wheel cradle works really well as I work on turning it into a full cockpit with an old car seat I had laying around. Works great as a base if you are wanting to make your own rig and are on a budget, enough adjustability to get it to work with basically any kind of set up you can make for it.

This video made it so much easier 😍 One thing wouldve been good though: You should've made a step where you say to mount the pedals, before you say to mount the pedal plate on the stand. Because I had to remove it afterwards again from the stand because I didnt realize that logic earlier xD

Step 14 insert the feet. Or translated: now you have added all this additional weight to the stand, please turn it over and install the feet. How about doing that at step 1? When it's the lightest it's going to be and for those of us like me working on a hard floor, it will protect the floor from scratches.

Does the Gaming Chair Cradle come with/work (be added on) with the DD Wheel Stand too? That is the main reason I may consider this 2.0 stand over that one. I'd prefer to get the heavier duty stand, but that Gaming Chair option can be a life save for space, since I do standing VR gaming.

Maybe there is a way to fit it with some quick release mechanisms for GT seat addon? It would be nice to have ability to unfold the wheel stand, attach it to the seat and get a full cockpit and then detach, fold and store the wheel while keeping the seat to use it as a chair. The seat would need to become height adjustable though.

I've ordered this wheel stand after much thought, the sturdy and foldable design is exactly what i was looking for (I haven't got space for the Wheelstand DD). Two questions I need answering that I can't find anywhere; Would this be able to support the Fanatec Podium DD1 without much flex and would I be able to mount it right from the box or would I need to purchase more screws etc to attach it?

Hi there! The Wheel Stand 2.0 would be able to handle the DD1 as it is very strong. There would be minimal flex here. The Wheel Stand 2.0 does come with the necessary mounting hardware!

I have the wheel stand 2.0 and the seat add on. I love both but was disappointed that the shifter mount becomes useless once you buy the seat. The reason behind this is because the seat doesn’t adjust up and down enough. This means I have to lower the wheel deck to be able to use the wheel and not have it to high. Once you do that the shifter mount will not properly secure to the wheel stand . The shift mount that comes with the seat is great for one device , either a shifter or handbrake. I’ve had to squeeze both onto one platform and the additional mounting plate barely makes it work. Still, this product is built to last.

Hi there! Both can handle the DD1! The Wheel Stand DD is slightly more rigid than the WS 2.0, because it is not foldable. But the gaming chair cradle and the foldability are great features too!

Hi there, the Wheel Stand DD is a slightly stronger wheel stand as it is not foldable. However, the Wheel Stand 2.0 is foldable and comes with the gaming chair cradle, so there are benefits for both! If you need any extra info please let us know!

Yea my pedal frame doesn’t align correctly with the twist knob insert. Not to mention my box didn’t include the 2 55mm knobs. So pretty much DOA. Was really looking forward to this product too. What a shame.

Hi there, if you loosen the two bolts that allow the pedal frame to hinge then the twist knob insert will line up. The two 55mm knobs are preinstalled on the Wheel Stand.

I just assembled this stand. However, no matter how hard I turn the screws, the wheel plate moves up and down when using it with my wheel. I have tried different angles and they all seem to be too loose. The holes on the side are too big I guess to hold the plate into a stable position?

Good morning, I recently acquired a wheel stand 2.0 and I want to mount a Thrustmaster T248. The hardware provided is supposed to be 16mm long except it is 15mm, the problem is that I can't fix my steering wheel with the screws and washers provided. How to proceed ? Both wheel stands are as strong as each other, the only difference is the Wheel Stand 2.0 is able to fold down and the Wheel Stand DD is a solid A frame.

Hi there! It is a great solution for DD wheels as it can handle them without flex, however the Wheel Stand DD is slightly stronger as the 2.0 is foldable and the DD is not. They both can handle a CSL DD.

At 6:02, you fold away the chair cradle, but then at 6:13, it is gone. Why? I saw in another review that the cradle falls down too easily. Is that why it's edited out of the video? Plus at 7:04, that wheel base is too high for the chair being so low. My concern is, if I want to set the wheelbase to the lowest position, then I can't use the shifter and handbrake parts. Correct? It looks like it connects to the extra space if the wheel base is higher. I would also like to see how to install a Fanatec wheelbase to the stand. Are the M6 bolts included? How long are they?

Hi there, the cradle is rigid and adjustable, when folding the stand, the cradle needs to be folded with it, there is no sneaky reason it wasn't in this shot. If you put the wheel plate to the absolute bottom there is no room for the shifter and handbrake plate, it only needs a few inches of a gap from the bottom to attach the shifter and handbrake plate however. The Wheel Stand 2.0 comes pre-drilled for Fanatec Wheel Bases, therefore we have included M6 bolts! If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to ask!

@@NextLevelRacing I have the wheel stand 2.0 now and the concern I had happened where my chair is so low that if I install the shifter arm, the extra height makes it so the steering wheel is too high. I have a nice racing seat that I use that I don't want to stop using. Of course the solution is to buy the GT seat add-on, but that's another $600 or so.

@@NextLevelRacing I bought it and when I fold it up, it's not very stable and falls down easily. Not a big deal, but just a little annoying. Yes, I saw the M6 bolts are included, but I needed two longer ones so I had to go out to the store to buy longer M6 bolts for the pedals for the Fanatec Gran Turismo DD Pro. With my current setup, adding the shifter and the plate makes the steering wheel too high for me. I would have to get a higher seat. I sent a picture to somebody at the support email for Next Level Racing since they were curious about my setup.

Hello guys, I’m stuck on step 13 where I screw in the shifting mount. There seems to be a padding on the part that aligns with the holes so that it can be screwed into the stand. However, I cannot for the life of me push the mount flush to the stand. Am i supposed to take this padding off? Or did I get sent a bad shift mount because it will not even get close to the holes in order to be screwed in. Anyone else have this problem?

unfortunately the front hole for mounting the Logitech G PRO Racing Wheel is missing. the two rear holes can be used. you have to use the Table Clamp to lock it in front edit:it is easily solved by drilling a hole with a drill

6:00 it's not very helpful that the chair caster cradle magically disappears between steps 18 and 19 - obviously because the cradle simply falls and hits the ground while you're folding the stand, making a huge noise. What an oversight.

Flashy video and all, but terrible as actual instructions. The included booklet is fine but you really could bother to differentiate which bolts are which as they come in separate bags. Just saying use the 16mm ones is kind of worthless

Got it done, took about an hour. Seems pretty sturdy so far and it does mount a fanatrc DD1 just fine. Haven't gotten everything wired up, so will try to remember update with another comment on how it handles it in action, but it feels like it will be fine. Be really careful on Step 7, the wheel mounting plate. Very easy to pinch a finger as you need to balance it at an angle while inserting the bolts.

Yep it does the DD1 in action really well. Did a whole Bahrain GP in F1. Project Cars 2 glitched out with my dd1 and went into wrist-breaker mode but at least the Stand 2.0 was still solid and stable.
