Not long ago there was a post in my neighborhood group about a man knocked off his bike in an apparent hit and run. The wife of the man went on a mad rant and riled up everyone. The house across the street from the accident had a doorbell camera which showed that the dude just wiped out because he was going too fast. The wife refused to believe the footage and continued to rant. Now everyone thinks she's crazy. Their house went up for sale yesterday.

Every year in the spring, a local person goes door to door putting anonymous letters in people's mailboxes telling them not to have campfires because it bothers this one person, who doesn't identify themselves. The Nextdoor storm that follows it is hilarious. If the person, who may actually be physically troubled by the campfire smoke, just put their contact info on the letter, people could have a human discussion with them. Instead they choose to write indignant letters to their neighbors every year and get more and more upset each passing year.

This proves that even a place with wealthy residents can experience food deserts, shipping delays, trucker strikes, and hoarders.
