1988 cabriolet and the weather striping is shottttt I bought this stuff hoping it works to revitalize it , hardest thing is to clean that old weathered cracked rubber, makes any cloth or rag grab the rubber, so I completely ruined my bottle cuz I couldn't clean the rubber properly

Unfortunately there is a point of no return on restoring old rubber parts.

I got a used car i bought and the rubbers on the outside of the windows are kind of like half faded in places and looks like its got a bit of water spotting around them so the colour isn't consistent. Ive tried black restorer products and they dont work. I did a search for a rubber product and this showed up and wondering if it will bring back the colour?
