I'm a history teacher, and I had to give up showing this video to my class because there are commercials literally every 4 minutes. Absolutely outrageous. That's more than on television.

I had just visited a graveyard in Connecticut today that has many Connecticut troops who took part in the siege of Louisburg buried there

My ancestor Daniel Green is said to have died during the Siege of Louisburg in 1745. I look forward to visiting this amazing site.

Definitely excellent. I wish my class an I could have continued watching it, but we couldn't stand KZbin's non-stop ads.

What shocks me is so few Americans really know about Louisbourg. It is literally America's first successful military campaign against Europeans independent of Crown support. This is literally the beginning of America's military history and one can even argue that the American invasion of Normandy in 1944 as well as our landings in the pacific started Here. It can even be argued that this was the first straw leading to America's war of independence since Britain literally gave it back to France when the war ended.

Is that really the way a french man wears his beret? I thought it was on the side more. He looks a bit silly with it like that.
