I am only halfway through the video but just incase you don’t. Please fire the head coach because the chem is terrible and it is losing you games. The team is mid but that’s not your fault. You easier get 16 more points if the chem is fixed. Edit: everything is fine chem wise besides that second pair. Please attempt to get them to fit

Why do u put players out of position and/or put your 3 best players all on one line. Doesn't the first and second line get almost equal ice time. it makes zero sense from a strategy standpoint

The team could make the playoffs but they won't go to the Stanley Cup Final. I think if you fix the D chemistry then maybe it could happen. At the trade deadline next episode, I would trade for a bottom pairing guy with decent potential that also has great chemistry. Good move firing Travis Green and hiring Bruce Cassidy, even though I can't stand the Golden Knights in real life. Defensive coaches don't sim well.

Awesome series. I quit Jumping into the Trade Deadline . I sim to the day before and do all my trades. This way i can do some scouting and see who's available. Make sure everything i need to do gets done

Same. I jump in at deadline as well but have most of my trades done before it. Ironically, this seems to have been happening a lot irl too in the past few years

Yeah, trade deadline day is a pain to deal with in franchise. Only real advantage is that seems to be the only time DURING the season that all CPU teams will update their “status” (buyer/seller), so it can impact how easy or hard it is to get a hold on certain players

Its so much fun getting your stuff done during the deadline though. Plus teams have different trade blocks than the day before. I like looking into guys on teams who are doing bad the day before and then going into the deadline to make it fun.

I’d play batherson on 1st line. Not just big boost to 1sr but +1 to 2nd, which should help the rookie

U need to change the scheme fit. I have a sens franchise mode and I have a +5 on the top 3 lines and a +2 on the fourth. And for d I have a +4 on the top 2 pairs and a +2 on pair 3. Especially with yak if u can maximize his development with sandy as the top pair. Yak is a 90 for me currently in his second year.

Go to mid season and talk to players for scheme fit and if they say yes you will get full chem on them on 5v5 and PP and PK lines. You can also talk before season but mostly they are less coachable but in mid season they are much more saying yes. Changes franchise huge if they say yes

I thought you would trade up to the habs 3rd overall pick on that was on the block Not taking A. Joseph hurt on the inside. if you ask your players to be more adaptable in the summer. they will change positions and scheme fir for you

You need a coach who isn’t defensive. Thats why your D chem is bad. Defensive coaches never sim well.
