I'm shocked that I can't trust doctors advice. Even the studies show bias. Psoas I was saying, ..

I have heard and read papers like this before where you really have to know and you have to have someone help you know what the document is actually saying. And thank you because you’re helping us know what the document is saying. It is fraud that will actually make people feel worse. We need more people like you.

What if you have osteoarthritis not impingement. Do you still believe physical therapy is better than hip relplacement surgery? If there’s bone on bone how can physical therapy alone get rid of pain?

@@user-ju6qo3ev2q I hope you get an answer, but I think he's covered this in text form on the website, or on another video. I just can't remember the material. Good questions though!

Basically, a book written by a surgeon 'Confessions of a medical heretic' says that 99% of operations do nothing but harm. Traditional non-invasive treatments are always better. But guess what, who's gonna earn from them? So, no wonder this so-called research has this conclusion. It refers to many other area of medicine, and there are plenty of medical professionals talking about the same. Say, Bruce Lupton, Suzanne Hampries, etc. It's just that pharma doesn't earn from this, that is the problem. But there are PLENTY of doctors around the world who are aware of what's happening. By the way, I tried liking your video but I didn't succeed. I guess KZbin doesn't like such outrageous videos, if you know what I mean.

I was booked in for FAI surgery until I found your video "What is FAI? Learn the truth about femoroacetabular impingement." After following your advice my hip was dramatically improved in just a few days. 7 years on, no surgery and no pain!

Thanks! You are, without a doubt, one of the most helpful YT contributors. I worked in public health for 30+ years (now retired) and have reviewed many studies. You are so correct that one needs to CLOSELY look at how the study is designed and interpreted. Bias in studies, both intentional and unintentional (being kind) is rampant - in particular many of the statistical analyses. In any event, very glad that I found your site.

This is why we should have critical view on so called scientific researches. Anyone who attended grad school understand how easy to design a research to produce certain outcome.

Thanks so much for all the great videos and resources! The research base (or lack of…) for physiotherapy and other musculoskeletal health interventions is pretty depressing. I’d love to know what physios really think about stuff like the Personalised Hip Therapy protocol. Do they actually think it’s best practice? Or do they feel that it doesn’t really matter what exercises they give patients (maybe because the biopsychosocial model is so hot right now)?

How does fai relate to osteoarthritis? Does the physical therapy verses replacement concepts still apply ?

I have osteoarthritis and had an anterior total hip replacement two and a half months ago. I tried all the mobility and stretching exercises. They exacerbated the pain. I’m getting the other hip replaced in the spring and can’t wait!! Best decision I could have made.
