MAGNIFICENT! Because of his drum work in Genesis, Phil was always my favourite drummer - my inspiration. Nic certainly has his DNA and is undeniably as magnificent as his dad was back in the day. When I had the opportunity to play Firth of Fifth live, I also played some fills from the Seconds Out version, mixing them both together. Happy days! Great memories!

VERY solid Nic, no doubt. Loved it. Part of the soundtrack if my life, no doubt. Your dad's drum parts can never be emulated. The way he played, the nuances and the feel he had was second to none. He was to drumming what Michael Jordan was to Basketball. Thanks for keeping the flame alive.

No exaggeration… closing my eyes it’s his dad back behind the kit. Wonderful stuff… the lad has huge shoes to fill and he is very much doing so.

Nic has it all and what a superb attitude too. Just wonderful
To me his style is more suited to funk. But I like him and think he’s a talented guy

Nic is the real deal, but comparisons with his dad are so difficult (and unfair). Phil just had that X factor thing going on, and ability to bend the time - ultimately it was his unique gift, and that’s all we can say about it..

Love the drumming, Nic is top quality..... never been keen on the guitar over elaboration by Daryl though

That's a good point. Particularly, sections like a firth of fifth section, his branching out on it is too forced, borderline shredding. Of course, Daryl is great and has been great with the band. There have been times within the band where it feels like he is forcing his quick licks when it's really not necessary in the moment. Just a small thing in the scheme of it all.

Not quite as accurate as dad, but maybe I hear too much of Chester live, in my head, whenever I hear this song.Just sounds like it's milliseconds behind the song. Great that Phil has 2 great drummers to keep the Collins thing alive.
