Grifting is when someone goes from scam to scam trying to take money from people. Grifter doesn’t just mean “idiot” or something. I know English isn’t your first language , but no grifting / money making scheme was mentioned in this video

I would say that through time the meaning to this word has changed from the original(especially because of politics),nowadays "grifting" doesn't only involve money With that being said, I feel like Nick's end goal is to gain so much notoriety that people who are out of the loop(or intentionally obtuse) would proclaim him as some sort of "truth-teller", and he could make money off that
