Where do I begin. The early rising, filming during a heat wave when most of us would be seeking shade or too tired to carry anything let alone film. Even after a storm that made a huge mess on your property you still wanted us to see how your family made pesto. Thank you to Stephano for allowing us to see the process. All of this before you headed off to work Nicki? Wow!! To make matters worse, after a productive morning of filming and stair climbing, you then discovered damage to your scooter and your belongings were all wet and you haven't even left yet to go to work. You're Amazing!! My day would've ended there, if not sooner. 😂😂 I hope many of your viewers, me included, will be blessed with an opportunity to visit Positano one day and it's surrounding areas. Mio Dio, che bel corso d'acqua fresca e fredda! La cascata era così rinfrescante. Buon per te e Carlo, e per i bambini che se ne vadano e si godano in un'altra calda giornata. Grazie per avermi mostrato quei sacchi di foglie di basilico fresco, mio ​​Dio mi ha riportato alla mente dei ricordi. Mia madre lo coltivava nel suo orto e ogni giorno raccoglieva diverse foglie, e con un pestello schiacciava l'aglio, e le foglie di basilico e poi e olio extravergine di oliva, formaggio (il migliore) e pinoli, a volte lei userebbe le noci. Quanto mi manca mangiare quel pesto! E il mio preferito sugli gnocchi, tutti fatti a mano, arrotolati su una forchetta e cotti in meno di 10 minuti. Delizioso. Mi hai rallegrato la giornata! Everything is just so beautiful there..from the waterfalls to the tiles!!! Yes you and Carlo were like kids just enjoying the beauty and water, looked cold but refreshing!!! Practicing for elder years decades in advance...one must be ready ...haha!!! Such a fun day!! In my youth we'd leave the city go to the "country" walk down gravel roads to the big bridge go underneath and follow the sandy ground until we found a pond of water...I remember black moccasin snakes joining us and it was still fun, just shortened the swim. How my cousins could run barefoot on gravel roads and I could barely walk on them without shoes. Thanks for sharing such a great day and the always beautiful scenery of your lives!!!😎💫🥂

O my word....buyng and eating the Italian panini....one of my best memories of the Liguria coast in the sixties. They did put the panini in a big thick brown paper bag. The sound of the paper bag, the smell of the freshly baked panini......so delicious!

I enjoy all of your videos, but as someone who loves to garden I really look forward to the garden/food related videos. I love how it’s a extended family affair when it comes to the care and processing of all the gardens bounty. I grew up in a small city with a lot of Italian immigrants and most had two kitchens in their homes where they would make wine and can tomatoes and sauce.

Good afternoon! Finally we have some heat with our summer. 33° C at the moment. It's 7:12 p.m. I am so grateful that you know where to find a cool spot. Such a beautiful waterfall.From the news I am hearing that you are having an epically hot summer. Now that the very cold Spring has left us ,our roses are basically frying up. It was lovely when it was cool for the roses sake. Pity the basil plants were damaged & so much was bashed by the brutal storm. Good that all was not lost and it was time to rescue and convert and make good pesto. Does look like an excellent recipe. Thank you for that. Hopefully there will be a reprieve of the blistering heat. Your garden will probably recover quickly. Disappointing when all the flowers get bashed. Thank you for this vlog - interesting as always!

Poor Indie does have issues with noisy water that's moving. LOL. I guess she won't take showers. I adore the natural area where you went in the early morning with the waterfalls in the stream. So beautiful and a wonderful respite from the heat. When you order a tuna sandwich at a local restaurant is it Italian canned tuna or is it fresh tuna seared for that sandwich? You are smart to try places you stumble upon on your adventures and it gives them business they need to recover financially from the strains of the pandemic. Thank you. Thank you. The electrical storm is gorgeous to watch and it so changes everything. The wee creatures scurry to shelter, some animals quake a bit from the thunder and lightning in fear, the plants must hold onto their soil, and the greenery left in place at the end is ever so much greener than it had been before the cataclysm struck and washed it. Good job, Stefano, with your mise en place ready to make the pesto. It all looks good before it's even combined. Is Gabriele the son of Stefano? So everyone has these portioned containers with pesto in them for the coming year for meals. It makes cooking so much easier when there is lots of family with whom to share that you make large batches that can keep you all in food stuffs over the winter months. Was the scooter safe to drive without the brake handle on it? The palazzo garden is lovely. The architecture is particularly pretty in this area. Is it part of Positano or in a neighboring town? Yum=Positano Dream.
