The humility of someone like Gilbert Arenas....when you know, when you've realized that someone has taken what you started, and mastered it, is when you not only admit it but you defend them when someone tries to call them out because they're not there to defend themselves...yea...I'm just in awe of what Gilbert was suppose to be, how humble he is now, he's the truest athlete I've seen in a long time...you know your time is up, and you had that nature in you, but you pay respects when you see it in someone else...Kobe saw it too and said this dude is scary and not many see why, why he's REALLY scary..it's not just the shooting, it's the way he is when he plays and while he shoots, he can shimmy after a make and then right back into that glare of focus, and he's seldom rattled....I'd love to get into shape again and play against this guy

I understand what you're tryin to say but I don't think Arenas is humble at all. Think about it. When someone shoots a 3 and he turns around knowing its going in, isn't really a sign of humility. It's in you FACE! I'm sure there's been other players that have shot similar shots b4 G Arenas.

People only focus on his shooting. Point is, curry is an amazing finisher, defender and on top of it all, an incredible team player. His game IQ is crazy high and he always manages to lead his team to victory, even when he is not shooting threes all the time. He does that through screening, and since he is a real threat, he always draws a lot of defense to him, which opens up space for his teamates. The shots he took even in college, guys werent doing and he was making damn near half of them. Was my favorite player ever since. The Bob Knight (one of the greatest coaches ever) interview where he spoke on Steph’s elite passing skills (while still at Davidson) is one of the best interviews that is painfully missed here.

I'm so happy as a warriors fan that my favorite player is on my favorite team. Cause I love everything about Steph. He's exactly the kind of thing I love. When a guy is an anomaly at a skill to the point that EVERYONE has to try to emulate him just to keep up. Like, nowadays, if your bigs can't shoot, they're flat out offensive liabilities at this point. Which is crazy. He was unanimous MVP, and within the next two years, all the bugs like boogie, brook Lopez, Al Horford, Karl Anthony towns, Anthony Davis all started shooting threes. Like, you look at the numbers, and 2016 on, guys who maybe averaged 1 attempt a game started shooting 3, 4, 5 threes a game. That's what is crazy to me. Also, I love what Gilbert said when it was argued Steph needed to hit the no look game winners. We were beating teams so bad that Steph never really needed to hit a game winner for like, five years straight. Having seen Steph do it in person, you would SWEAR that everything he shoots is going in. Like, it's a surprise to the whole arena when he misses

Same reason Gilbert Arenas gave. He was a great player, great scorer, but he never won. If you don't win, you're just another great player. Not one of the best.

Killer. As a warriors fan, I won’t stand for a second of kd hate. I hope there’s a statue for him one day. I extend that to lebron, he’s the perfect adversary for my favorite team and not only one of the best players to live, but a stand up guy (although he can play with a tad too much drama for me [and def the refs]) great video and love to support great basketball Steph and all these players you featured. Positive sports coverage needs more support

He hasn't passed Ray yet. Media is clickbaiting the story; the record they're running includes playoff games, which no cares about actually. It's the regular season record that we're waiting for.

@@Pun116 Noone...cares about the playoffs? Am I taking crazy pills?🤣
@Pun1163 жыл бұрын
@@PriceAintRight Come on, man. Think about it a little harder. A great shooter on a bad team isn't making the playoffs; the same great shooter on a good team is making the playoffs. Should Reggie Miller join the Bulls with Jordan so he can chase rings and playoff three pointers? Use your brain, please.
@MrAjay4083 жыл бұрын
@@Pun116 So you're saying the Warriors without Curry is still a playoff team? Quit talking bout basketball like you actually know what you're talking about. Lebron has even made more playoff 3's than Ray. During Curry's 15-16 MVP season, he sat out of the 4th quarter, 1 out of every 4 games, because he was completely dominating. Curry is the greatest shooter ever, and his skillset ALLOWED his team to develop along with him. You're a clown dawg.

Great video brotha. It's sad that only now the media is giving him the respect he has long deserved. I think many confused his selfless choice for taking the backseat to KD as Steph needing KD to win Chips. Fact is, the Warriors had a better record when KD sat and Steph played than when Steph sat out and KD was the go to. If he wasn't out half of last season, they would have been a 1st or second seed team in the west.

The turn around part on game winners make more since then in the middle of a game. You have to worry about the rebound in the middle of the game. You are done after you shoot the game winner there is no rebound so I think stephs are more impressive.
