You are sor of right echach neuron is made 10s of thousands of microtubules these can hold three different states on, off and a third state. Due to how small and dry it is a lot of people in the field are coming to the conclusion through exsprimention that microtubules act at the quantum level. At the base of neuron interaction is quantum states.

Is philosophy encouraged in the lds church

That’s a hard question to answer. “Philosophies of men” is a pejorative used in the temple meant to encourage members to only listen to “approved philosophy”. That being said, some families are more encouraging than others. I will note that as a whole, LDS leaders and members believe that they already have all the wisdom they need regarding questions like “where did I come from? What is the purpose of life? And, Where do I go after death?”. I don’t see how other philosophical ideas would be seen as valuable within the parameters of Mormonism.

@@ubermormon9611 see that’s what I’ve encountered with the Mormon missionaries I’ve talked too. I feel like it’s the exact opposite of the rest of Christianity especially Catholicism when almost every priest studied philosophy at the post undergraduate level. They encourage the reading of conflicting ideas. Can you also explain the lds stance on heavenly mother
