these videos are not for entertainment, they are clearly "fair dealing" under UK copyright law and are exempt as they are reporting current affairs, as I am sure you are aware UK courts "bear in mind that considerations of public interest are paramount".
UK courts see the fair dealing defence usually only applies when part of a work has been taken such as small clips as per my youtube videos.
Reporting of current events
Under Section 30(2), fair dealing using any work for the purpose of reporting current events, with sufficient acknowledgement, is a valid exception to copyright. Photographs are excluded, however; Cornish, Llewelyn and Aplin write that this is "in order to preserve the full value of holding a unique visual record of some person or event" (29TH MAR 2018) Subscribe for more Nigel Farage content.

It was interesting to note that while the "remainers" were speaking, Nigel Farage allowed them to put forward their views without interruption. What a shame they couldn't extend him the same courtesy.

Just like Farage ‘allowed’ Anna Soubry from attempting to remind him and the audience on Question time that he cited the Norway option on numerous occasions as the example of a country living successfully outside the EU. Sadly he talked over her shouting “What are you on about?”. And you moan about courtesy? On both sides I’m afraid.

I think that’s a really unhealthy way to look at voting. It’s not about “winning” or “losing”, it’s about determining what position is more popular among the populace in order to know what to put into action. I think there’s also an important thing that lots of people are trying to push aside: If people change their minds and the actions behind the decision can still be amended, then is it more important to stick to the old vote? Or to follow the people’s will? True democratic proponents would pick the latter, and I’d love to hear an argument against this other than “You lost get over it”.
@Ubique2927
@Ubique2927 4 жыл бұрын
@@evanr5871 ... there is no proof whatsoever that people have changed their minds or that the vote would go the other way if a new referendum was asked with same question. Indeed as people get older they tend to vote differently and the young are still idle and don't bother voting, just complaining.

John Saf ... Don't mention Sovereignty to these inbred clowns .... they have no idea what it means. They'll be thinking it has something to do with the Queen or something, they're as thick as two planks. (Sovereignty: (1) Supreme power or authority. (2) The authority of a country to govern itself without any influence from another country.)
@alanharvey9094
@alanharvey9094 6 жыл бұрын
Fruit ... That's not the best term to use tbh, but it does apply so stop being awkward ... you know what nemo meant ... countries which are sovereign countries, do indeed make their own laws and without any input or interference from any other nation ... they govern themselves completely independently and those which have a democratic system, can vote every so often in a general election, for a particular party and therefore the government. If the people don't like what the government has been doing, they can vote for another party and therefore get another government in power. That goes on today within the EU countries to a certain extent of course ... except that the EU issues laws, directives etc. which all EU countries, soon to be states of Europe, have to abide by .... that is the point, sovereign countries wholly govern themselves ... along with the fact that, the only people within the EU who are there to make laws are entirely unelected for that purpose. My fear, one which is shared by many of us, is that one day, these countries will no longer be considered as countries, just individual states of a United States of Europe.

Well now big mouth, Brexit is beginning to bite. Fishermen are seeing their catches rot on quaysides, trucks are queueing for days to get a crossing to France which is having a massively bad effect on UK trade, the financial sector is outsourcing jobs and huge amounts of trade to France and Germany and the UK government is telling small British companies who used to export to the EU and are now hamstrung by border regulations to close parts of their businesses in Britain and move them to an EU member state. That means sack some British people and employ some Frenchmen. So here's your fucking platform ... Explain the benefits of the Brexit you were so happy to support and maybe tell us all why these problems are all the fault of the remainers who told arrogant arseholes like you what was going to happen why and you guys were really right all along? On the other hand you could just apologise to those who's lives you have destroyed then shut the fuck up and crawl back under your stone ;)

@@michaelhodgson9081, grow up and don't call people dumb, don't haha everything you disagree with. I'm sure you know lots of clever things about the situation with the deep state and EU, but disappointed by your attitude. How are you helping your case by ridiculing people? Labour just did that to 5 million voters and are now facing the problem of getting their attention, let alone a vote. Things are changed under this Withdrawal Act. We will be an independent 3rd party to the EU, not a reflection of them. We won't be sending our children off to an EU army now though or having our defence contacts decided by the EU, unlike May's deal. And we might even get a good deal for the city and fishing, Blair didn't get the CAP farming payments changed even when he gave up the rebate, because he was in with them. Being independent makes us more powerful. Even just the other day Juncker, the drunk and rejected politician said, UK doesn't need the EU, But the EU needs the UK (our money and our help) Take care please and I want you to enter into a more civil dialogue, if you care to reply.

Failed to get elected as an MP 7 times, the lowest attendancies of any EP meetings, debates and votes, happy to take €150,000 a year from EU and one of the highest claimants for expenses. He blames his ineffectiveness at EP and on Fisheries Commission on the EU, not that being 1 out of 28 people and one of the 'strongest voices' according to many of his arguments he couldn't change a single policy yet a man who is a part time chef managed to get the EU to change their policy in 3 months of campaigning.

The major political moment of our time was undoubtedly the EU referendum. Its impact will be felt for decades. It was called only because of the pressure Nigel Farage put on David Cameron. So I don’t think it’s any exaggeration to say that - for good or ill - Mr Farage will come to be seen as the most influential British politician of the last 50 years.

Aristotle said democracy only works when the more sagacious among us vote, since those who have not been lucky enough to have received an effective education quite often do not vehemently understand what they are voting for. This was proved when Aristotle was sentenced to death by an ignorant bunch of voters. Interestingly enough, 90 per cent of academics voted to remain in the EU. Make of that what you will.

People are seeing the difference in their shopping bills? The only difference I'm seeing is that things are getting more expensive because of EU regulations, and places like "Just Eat" are adding costs on to cash transactions, again because of the EU... Not to mention the whole E-cig tank size limit, stupid cigarette packaging laws, the fact that is difficult to buy a cheap lightbulb in the supermarket, and the hundreds of other legislations that the EU have imposed on us..

You must be a Russian fukhead, making the chaos on youtube because Putin wants so. What a fuk an American knows about UK and EU. Nothing, you fuk moron. An American doesn't even know the places of European countries in the map. Just like an European doesn't know the places of states on the American map. Same. An American cheers for Brexit lol. What does it mean "United" in your country's name? Was it good or bad when America became "United States" and not bunch of separated little countries ? Do you want California separated, "sovereign" independent from USA ? Or Florida or Texas ? Jeez, you do this for thumbs up ?

Either they've changed their minds and see how corrupt the political elite and the EU are, or they've just been saying to just get on with it. Let's not forget that a lot of voters were on the fence during the referendum. Now we all know more than we did about how corrupt this system really is.

No he doesn't. He's been asked by David Dimbleby on BBC Question Time to stop interrupting, and by the EU Parliament frequently. He's a narscissitic bully who likes the sound of his own voice, and thank God we rarely get to hear it. Ask him if he's going to stand in Thanet South at the next election, and ask UKIP to take down the mesh from their Ramsgate HQ and clean the windows please, if you don't mind. It's a little scruffy around there and they are making it worse.

@peterainsworth8026
@peterainsworth8026 6 жыл бұрын
Brent Forder, pot and kettle there by the sounds of it. Elementary economics teaches the amount of trade you have with other countries is closely linked to their geographic distance. All the trade deals in the world with places 1000s of miles away will never replace what we've got now. Plus we also have some pretty sweet deals with a lot of those places through EU brokered arrangements already. And if all these lovely trades deal are on the go, why have we not heard a single peep about them with less than a year to go??? Who needs facts though when the Brexit unicorn farm is on hand to dish out an endless supply of wishful thinking fairy dust.
