Yes. It was an easy going time. Today everything seems to be heavyweight and complicated. When the truth is much easier. It's the hopelessness of today that makes people believe "humans can't change" when in the 80s it wasn't even a problem to show naked female breasts etc. but of course it was way more. In the 80s "change" was "just done". People took more risks. But nowadays with the internet Asa living space, we mostly feel lonely and little. That's why "identifying" has become so relevant today. We're feeling so little, hopeless and lonely that we're not long capable of changing. There are people, but those people earn "good enough" money and spoil their kids for that. So they are able to change but do it the wrong way for their kids because they're at work and the kids in the hands of pedagogical treatment or however you call that in English. Back then...there was the mind of "just do it" Today we're more like "is anybody hurt if I do that?" AND of course... "we need to talk about it" No, we really done talking enough I'd say. Time to come back to a state of mind that was just full of "getting shit done, and that being said...properly!" Yes, I think that's the big bit actually very easy differences between the 80s and 2010s and 2020s and so will be 2030s...which might become even worse. We're on a good way there. Just have a look at Hollywood. Or at the democracy of the USA. It's declining fast. Maybe a new massive form of decadence. Who knows...maybe it's the other very imminent thing "ideology". Cheers PS: I looooove 80s movies and soundtracks. They are always lifting you up just like some fantastic weed never could. Gets you out of the darkest mood and I am sure....it also would help you get rid of any depression. You can't hold it back, the need to dance and/or sing sets in and kicks you in the face. And before you even realize what you're doing - you're exhausted from dancing and singing too much.

Think of it, I, hold the world in the palm of my hand Run a comb through my hair, head on out for some new foreign land And all this could seem like a dream out the door With everyday people, face down on the floor I always said I could make it and be who I am There's a new look in sight, what a change for the new modern man With all this it seems, like I'm dying for more The streets are on fire, never seen it before It's like the sound of electric guitars Worlds collide and hearts will be broken Over and over it's the same every day- How can I say what has never concerned me The secret of my success is I'm living 25 hours a day It's amazing to me, what a fool will believe to bet by With a change of your mind, I can live, I can fly The harder the come, the harder they fall I never say maybe and I go for it all Just like the sound of electric guitars Worlds collide and hearts will be broken Over and over it's the same every day- How can I say what has never concerned me The secret of my success is I'm living 25 hours a day With nothing to show, just sweat form my soul My heart's on the line and I'm dying to go (dying to go) Look at us now, gonna make it somehow Hold on to me baby, can't hold me down Worlds collide and hearts will be broken Over and over it's the same every day- How can I say what has never concerned me The secret of my success is I'm living 25 hours a day The secret of my success is I'm living 25 hours a day 25 hours a day

Considering this was filmed back in the late 80s, when computer technology wasn't what it is today, I'm extremely impressed with how seemless the transitions are between the different filmed portions of the video. Bearing in mind this was probably shot on film stock in those pre-digital days, this also must have been rather costly to produce. Remember seeing the video on some show on BBC2 that used to play a lot of American music, sadly this song was never a hit over here in the UK, which was a pity as I rather enjoyed it.
