Thank you, very nice reaction! Just Nightwish doing Nightwish things! And as you have surely noticed, although they are all outstanding , none of them standout Well, except our Valkyrie Goddess, ofc. Nightwish is their own genre and no other band comes close to the level they are at. Never, in the history of music entertainment, have a set of skills and talent collided in such powerful manner. Tuomas is a true genius as a composer and with lyrics.

Her voice covers a *lot* more than this. She can full on growl - "Yours is an Empty Hope", She can sing in a song that is sentimental - "Lanternlight", all the group is on display full tilt in both - "The Greatest Show on Earth" (where you hear three singers make monkey growls), and "Ocean of Strange Islands" (no live version yet because tours are paused while Floor recovers from giving birth). Floor's versatility is amazing. You may like the band Amarathe which has had some male growlers from time-to-time.

@Alex: when the goddess has grabbed your soul you won't find any song you quit anymore 😂. And yes, still you have seen nothing yet. At Wacken Floor even hasn't beesn an official member of Nightwish. Now she has been the lead for 12 years, so maybe you can imagine what is coming next. It's out of this world 😂. But I want to spend my time now to give you some recommendations you need to know and of course to react to. First: NW is the peak of a lot of fantastic Symphonic Metal Bands. The one you need to know is EPICA. Here you will find your missed death Metal growls, too. But Simone, the lead vocalist, is the siren of Metal. She will seduce you for sure. Start with EPICA "Code of Life" AFAS live. Next one is Within Temptation, then you need Tarja (Ex-lead of NW) - I think you will meet her in your NW-journey. You already started to react to J-Metal with Babymetal. Next deep rabbit hole. Here a must see is LOVEBITES "Swan song" incl. piano intro live, and Band Maid "Hate" official live. I am sure after these 4 bands you will ask yourself WHY? Why does the American music industry not support non-American bands. And now the iceberg is coming... Sabaton, Arch Enemy, Blind Guardian, Electric Callboy, Rammstein, Ayreon, Unleash the Archers, Amaranthe etc etc. You have material for years 😂😂😂
