My favorite song to sing live! On my first tour with Nightwish I started to sing the ending differently, to add something to it. Then there was a concert DVD [2013’s Showtime, Storytime] showing this, and everyone wanted to keep hearing the new ending. It suddenly became a ‘thing’ - there was expectation, so it became special for me. Thank you everyone!

How very true. I had no clue who she was, but I saw her in 2013 when she was with Revamp, they opened for Sabaton and Iced Earth. It was at a small 200 person bar in Houston, Texas. After the local band opener I got a beer and went to smoke on the patio. Halfway through my second cig I heard an absolutely angelic siren call, calling out to me through the walls. I floated inside, like a cartoon character being dragged by the scent of a pie. I was absolutely awestruck by her voice and stage presence... The Floor hit me hard that night.

My husband died from brain cancer almost 2 years ago but when he was still by my side watching a Dutch tv show we were introduced to the very talented Floor Jansen. I dug deeper and found KZbin videos of her at The Wacken festival performing this song. After my husband died her music gave me so much comfort, I could forget my sorrow when listening to her voice, maybe because discovering her talent was one of the last things we did together. Also have come to appreciate the whole band and the members. Also love the voice and aura of Marco. Together with Floor they create magic.

Her last note gives this song something very special; it emphasizes this cathartic outburst caused by tragic, unfulfilled love. Floor brings to Nightwish vocal power, colour and a nice range. While she cannot sing easily everything Tarja sang, Floor is simply amazing and fits with Nightwish perfectly
