My favorite singer is Tarja, my favorite albums were with anette, my favorite NIGHTWISH is Floor. People always identify Nightwish to who the singer was at the time... NOPE! Its Tuomas and Marko's masterpiece. Tuomas has gotten what he needed from each singer for their respective albums, however, Floor is the most diverse and truly opens up the creative channels and directions you can take a single album, or even song.

Nightwish needs to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Very few could ever hope to match the level of story telling, performance and atmosphere they create. There are greater and more desirable things to do and to achieve. Like for Nightwish, being the unmatched No. 1 within their music genre for decades. You will never have them a Lady Gaga wiggling next to them on their stage, while looking like they wish someone would nuke them right then and there (referring to that one concert of Metallica - a band who did conquer Northamerica).

she is more than just a metal singer ... she has got a full theatrical range, all kinds of musical theatre... yes there are a lot of good singers at opera houses, but most of them do not dare to sing metal or also also "dark" styles ... ok, Lori Lewis does, Laura Macr does, but with respect to metal music, not many have a powerful belt voice and an operatic soprano voice and the singers who dare to sing both are rare ... I know a german soprano who can even do growls but did not yet enter the metal stage ...

That was a powerful and magical preformance from Nightwish. The Vehicle Of Spirit DVD/Blu-ray Editions so beautiful (especially the Earbook Edition with so many photos). The Wembley Arena and the Tampere Show so awesome and pure magic. Great songs from the Endless Forms Most Beautiful Tour and some golden oldie Nightwish songs with many-many extras. Floor rules the full stage with full of energy, with dancing moves, small theatrical gestures and communication with the audience. This woman is a pure magic and gift for humanity. And that singing and voice. Just wow. Powerful and beautiful performance. I'm truly amazed every single time. Floor have a beautiful heart and soul! I love this woman. Her voice, performance, femininity, presence, style... all of them! I really hope Floor will singing for so many years for us (and Nightwish too). Floor deserve every support, love, appreciation and respect! I hope one day I meet with her and we can talk a little bit (and thank her for everything includes the After Forever/ReVamp era). Really can't wait the new Nightwish DVD/Blu-ray (Decades Live) release this year! :)

I would extend that to Tuomas as well. Not disrespecting Marko, Kai, Troy or Emppu, but without Tuomas, there would be no Nightwish. Because, for me, Poet and the Pendulum put into music emotion -- particularly anger and rage -- that I have held in for years, because of different traumatic events in my life. I felt helpless in dealing with those emotions, which have led me at different times to contemplate committing suicide. But Tuomas put into music how I felt perfectly -- and because of it, I've healed more in one song that was 10 minutes long than I did over the course of five years. Some songs keep you from going over the abyss, yet you stay at the edge.
