My main complaint with the Vaporfly 3 is the toe spring/forefoot rocker is not aggressive enough. As a result I find I need to work harder to run faster. For me, the Adidas Adios Pro 3 has been my racer of choice. Amazing shoe!

i'm hoping they have some good deals on the adios pro 3 for black friday. if i can find under $150 might have to pull the trigger on it

@@tkwasikAgreed. I’m a lean 205 with wide feet. AAP3 work better the. vaporfly’s for me. I plan on giving the saucony endorphin elite a try

I slighly pronate and need a shoe for a 5k on a track but also 5k workouts on a track too, os my thought is that if im hitting mainly the forefoot at the distance. would you recommend these for racing. i know a lot of college athlete use them for the 5k/10k

Yeah this would be great for 5k racing - definitely not the most stable but if you are forefoot striking they should work fine. Adidas Takumi Sen is another good option for that distance and is cheaper at $180

My top pick right now would be the Asics Metaspeed sky Paris - it has everything I loved about the Vaporfly 2 but not as much of that sinking in feeling. It's also a bit lighter weight than the Vaporfly which is a plus. For the full marathon it might not be as protective as I'd like but it would be perfect for a half
