Vader was learning from his past. He took the lightsaber via the force from Reeva and fought without the saber to start with. Still learning from Obi Wan. Even though he'd never come close to admitting it.

George Lucas is the ultimate keeper of the canon, not the fandom. And since he is no longer directing Lucasfilm, I don't trust Lucasfilm to "keep to the code." I especially don't trust Kathleen Kennedy running the shop. You know what else I don't trust? Lucasfilm to keep from screwing everything up in some way. The Grand Inquisitor just told Reva "Revenge does wonders for the will to live." That's gonna work for Reva now, too. Obi Wan tricked her so now she doesn't only want revenge on Vader but on Obi Wan, too. So in the last episode she's gonna try to kill Luke for revenge on Obi Wan because she knows he was trying to protect him on Tattooine. And the season is gonna end with Obi Wan killing Reva. The Tomb... In the books (which are cannon) the Inquisition preserved dead Jedis' bodies before the Midi-Chlorians died in their bloodstreams. The remaining Jedi could sense them as living Jedi and would seek them out to help them. The dead Jedis were literally bait. Many Jedi were lured to Vader's "castle" on what they thought would be a rescue mission, only to find dead Jedis and get killed themselves.

I absolutely love how they portrayed Vader's fighting style in this episode. It is so accurate. Because of his suit, Vader is not as flexible as he once was, which limits his abilities to fight with his lightsaber. So what does he do? He quite literally masters the use of the Force to help him when he has to fight, as well as also still being incredible with a lightsaber. This episode perfectly depicts just how powerful Vader is with not only his lightsaber, but also using the Force.

I was so disappointed with Bail when he shared that information over the hologram... GOD I was so frustrated, and then of course further that Obi-want didn't destroy the message. But, can't blame either of them, they're stressed... and you gotta drive the story somehow. 18:30 I'm with you on that. I'm just glad that Disney confirmed they're not in denial about the tragic backstory here. I liked Reva's story before, but now, I believe it's a VERY important one for today's age and culture. Story is a big part of how we can find answers to stop all the hate and violence in the real world. This is one reason I love star wars

Somehow, I knew Grand Inquisitor return during this series. I was caught off Guard by Reva when she helped Kenobi. As she stated, Reva wanted revenge on Anakin after he killed her friends (younglings). I believed that Kenobi got into her mind without her knowing it. Remember Kenobi kept his powers on the down low for 10 years. Now, his Powers are about same as Clone Wars years or even more powerful. In New Hope, he told Vader that he would be more powerful even after his death. Kenobi didn't fully shown his skills to Anakin during his training.

No, she won't try to get back with Vader. Plus she knows now she can't take him on personally. Once she finds Luke and learns his last name, it won't take much for her to put two-and-two together. She'll use Luke, maybe try and turn him to the Dark Side and make him her apprentice to use against Vader.

Two things….it’s already been established that select people can survive lightsaber injuries. Darth Maul being cut in half in Episode 1 and surviving set that precedent. Second, there were two ships in the hangar the entire time. The decoy ship Vader stopped & destroyed was docked in front of the 2nd one that escaped. And again, Vader is never in a rush or over reacts so he didn’t react immediately to the 2nd ship leaving. The beauty in this cat and mouse is that Obi Wan knows how to outsmart Anakin, knows his tendencies and how he reacts which still makes him the master.

This episode did a great job saving the "I was the learner" line, adding a bit more context to it and leaving their relationship in the most logical possible way until Ep. IV. The thing with Anakin as a person is that despite the evil that he has done throughout the franchise, he himself is not the pure evil, BUT he was completely emotionally manipulated and groomed during his early years by pure evil, Palps, who literally brainwashed him. At this point he is a man who lost absolutely everything, under the mask he knows he was manipulated to a degree, even his suit was designed specifically to cause him pain and discomfort by Palpatine to increase his anger. She was the grand inquisitor, she knows secrets they probably don’t want being shared. Just like blowing up the Death Star was a blow to the Empire without directly harming Vader or Palpatine. Obviously in a one-on-one fight, Reva isn’t going to last long. At the end of the day, her surviving (at least for the time being) isn’t for nothing; not just anyone in Star Wars survives getting impaled in the abdomen by Darth Vader himself, so the show’s writer’s may have bigger plans for her, or they just like letting people live after a lightsaber through the abdomen😅.

It's possible we aren't going to get another fight between Obi and Vader. This episode showed how Vader was still the learner and Obi was the master through the flashbacks which mirrored the present and how Obi outsmarted Vader and escaped. She may try and kill Luke to seek revenge on Obi Wan, or if she puts two and two together she may try and kill Luke to seek revenge on Vader (kill his family like he killed hers). But we will see. Reva is such a confusing character at this point.

The biggest flaw is Reva blaming Obi-Wan for Darth Vader attacking the Jedi Temple and killing the younglings. Kenobi was on Utapau fighting Grievous and had no knowledge of the attack on the Temple until later. There is no way he could have stopped it. Also, Anakin was no longer a Padawan, he was a Jedi Knight and a member of the Jedi High Council.

In part 3 the dialogue specifically says "He had help, they lost him. We are to sweep the entire planet." I'm convinced Obi did in fact escape, it was just poorly portrayed in the episode which left the door wide open for justifications. Just say "they let him go", not "they lost him". Otherwise Vader would have had to "pretend" Obi escaped and then play it off in part four when he nearly kills Reva for letting him get away again, which is exactly the same thing he did. In the context of the episodes it doesn't make sense. I don't buy it.

Reva just going Leroy Jenkins on Darth Vader correlates with what Obi-Wan was trying to tell Anakin in the flashback: "Your need to win will be your undoing." She lost herself in her anger and her revenge and now she's just going for it. Just like Anakin did on Mustafar, which got his ass dismembered and burnt to shit.

They aren't going to fight again now. The final fight will be between Obi Wan and Reva on Tatooine, I can say with certainty. The line of Vader in A New Hope about the last time they met he was still the learner was shown in this episode. Obi Wan outsmarted him, and escaped. It isn't that Ben could best him in battle (he can't) it is that he played him to get away, and now Vader won't have another shot at him until 9 years from now in A New Hope. The flash backs make this very apparent. Anakin was always the better warrior, and even more so now, but Obi Wan is the smarter combatant, and knows that retreat is sometimes better than victory, and that is what makes him still the master, and Vader still the learner.

Nikki raised a great point on how it's unusual for Vader to start choking an imperial for failure and then letting them go instead of killing them. However, there is precedence, Vader choking the dude in Rogue One and letting him go. It's not Nikki's fault if she forgot this because Vader also told an awful dad joke, "Careful you don't ... Choke ... on your own aspirations." Many Star Wars fans suppress that memory in favor of Vader's wicked hallway fight / slaughter at the end of the movie.

Reva is basically like Maul was. Consumed by revenge. I think she will use the info to lure Vader to Tatooine to have another shot at him. She doesn't care who she has to use to get her revenge

Also apparently it’s confirmed they are turning this series into a movie. Like all 6 episodes will be shown as one full long length movie of about 5 hours in theaters. I read about it and it’s confirmed. For people who want to see it as a theatrical experience I guess. Not sure why else they chose to do this but it’s being done.

That hate keeping Reva alive, she honestly gives off such Darth Maul vibes for me a very tragic character but she still sits in a dark/grey place, she won't let herself be a victim but like Maul keeps on going regardless.
