It's an amazing song. Made me want to start writing a new song myself, it will be crap tho. And they really make me want to play and practice more, not to quit at all. Hearing Polyphia for the first time almost two years ago made me pick up my guitar after nearly 20 years of hiatus and have been playing almost every day since. It's just so motivating, not just the playing, but the compositions and arrangements, I'm in a freaking big debt to these guys for all the joy I've had while playing. I just hope that I can see them live one day, but wrong continent so fuck that shit. BTW they ARE playing Ibanez, first I thought it was that old SC500N nylon electric guitar, but looks like it's not. It's actually custom Ibanez Talman with nylon strings.

I joke that i want to quit after listening to this but this isn't specifically my style of music to play. would it be cool to melt faces like this? yes, but the musician i am, i want to play other styles that i vibe with. either way, these new players coming up today are on a whole new level. this and percussive acoustic. absolutely gorgeous music.

Bro come on these guys are amazing, literally virtuoso's , masters of their instrument but to say they are the modern day Beethoven is a far reach. Beethoven blazed the path to open all modern music today. He pioneered the Romantic style of music which then and only then were artists fully capable of showing and pouring all their emotions into a piece. Before Beethoven western music was strict, formal, bounded with well defined rules. He threw those rules out the window. Did I mention he was already partially deaf 1798 and by 1820 could hear nothing at all.

These guys are crazy talented and can showcase their skills without a break of sweat, but fellow guitarists do not get discouraged ! Sometimes less can be more, the space and silence between notes can add just as much feeling as the compactness of their composition. but these guys kill it

Not my cup of tea, but I well NEVER knock talent. These guys are definitely amazing musicians, not just guitar players and a drummer. Their creativity is beyond words. Some musicians dish out half the talent in twice to three times the time, and these guys are able to compose music like this every few months or so? Insane.

Absolutely fell in love with Polyphia a few years back & as much as I do enjoy this sound, I hope they don't over do it. I love the vast majority of their music. LIT, Crosty, The Worst, O.D., Yas, 40 Oz., GOAT, Icronic,, James Franco, Finale, Goose, Crush, among many others. I hope this new album doesn't focus too much on jazz & intricacy. The timeless Tim Henson hooks are what made me fall in love with this band & I really hope they don't stray too far from it. GOAT was/is special in it's own way, but I personally don't put this song even in the top 10 Polyphia tracks. It's incredibly intricate & musical, but (for me) it just doesn't have that "wow" factor... Can't wait for this album to drop already! 😫

I love Polyphia, and this is a good song for sure, but I feel like it’s too much about technique (which is definitely impressive af) and not enough about the direction of the song. I have no idea what the song is about, it doesn’t really have any structure, which is fine, but it just feels like notes for the sake of notes. Albeit really tasty notes.

I'll say it... the drums are always playing the same type of beat, with the skippy jumpy sounds.. most of their tracks have the same exact grooves... as for the guitaring, it's just pure talent/showing off... can't have sex to it, can't dance to it, the the structure always fits every other track they have... Design, is meh, but it's pure talent.. but still, bleh. it's like their good for no reason..
