Nikolas is already calling Gia Sparky here and Gia already answers to her fitting nickname. I think that even here in this brief scene that Nikolas and Emily overall have too much in common and that there's not enough conflict to keep a storyline going for very long. Nikolas and Gia knew how to make something simple fun and she wanted Nikolas to have fun and understand that he has choices in life and he makes good choices with Gia around for the most part.

Right?!? Super Annoying! She actually said, "You don't know what it's like to be afraid and alone". As if he hasn't been afraid and alone his entire life. True Love from the start ladies and gentlemen 🙄 Please. I love how he backs off, and Gia instantly tags in to tell Emily about herself. And Nikolas let's her...lol.

@@Akintobi I think that despite the money and royal title that Nikolas feels very lonely and he even tells Gia that later. I think that Emily had a very privileged upbringing with everything that a child could possibly want but, Nikolas didn't have that. I think even here we see that she assumed incorrectly that money equals happiness when Nikolas had a very lonely childhood. I don't think that writers ever knew what to do with Nikolas and Emily and that she expected her last name to get her through life but, she never really challenged Nikolas to be a better person and couldn't give him the emotional support that Gia always gave him unconditionally.

@@Akintobi I think that this was the end of the four musketeers and it was hard for Liz to deal with later and when the writers brought them back together later there was still no tension in that storyline.

Emily and Liz were always annoying to me. I used to TiVo GH during Nia period and I would fast forward almost any story that wasn’t Nik/Gia.
