I saw the wet/wild recommended somewhere and got it. I'm 75 and really like it. It stays out of creases, mostly anyway, and gives a good medium coverage without heaviness. It does act like a much pricier product.

I was planning on getting a very expensive concealer today, but now I will try E.L.F first. Excellent video for those of us who don't want to spend too much money on our cosmetics. UPDATE: I purchased E.L.F 16-Hour Camo Concealer in "warm neutral." It's just what I was hoping it would be - at such a reasonable price! The secret for successful application for me is using a make-up brush to blend it, not a finger. In the morning, I now wear the eye concealer (lightly applied), mascara, a touch of brow tint, and a bit of cream blush on cheeks and lips. My long, thick hair is now in a fresh pixie cut which makes my long face look so much rounder. I think this is going to be my cruise routine in October. Super easy - and for those of us on budgets - so affordable!

Yes, the Elf Camo concealer goes a long way! Might I suggest the hydrating version. I cannot use the matte version. It looks beautiful…for about 30 minutes. 🥴 After that it begins to really dry out and crack. (Even though I always use skin/eye care prep.) I got the hydrating version and it’s much, much better. I’m curious to see what happens with Revlon. I’ve heard about their bankruptcy issues over the last few months. I’ve never been a big Revlon buyer but they have put out a few good products. Plus, they are such a classic cosmetics company. It would be a shame to see them go completely out of business. I suspect the brand will be saved via a larger brand buyout.

Thank you...many of us need to know the affordable acceptable alternatives. It's not that I "don't" want to spend money on more expensive products, it's that I don't have the money to soend on those products.I am 76 yrs old, look and act much younger, and I do follow your advice. I love your encouragement about taking the time to look good for ourselves. You are so right. It brightens my day and my outlook on life when I look in the mirror and think that I look good. Beauty is ageless and we do not have to become invisable just because we are growing older!

I can attest for the Revlon photoready Candid which is basically the same as your first Revlon product. It also has caffeine and sntioxidants and no sulphates or phalates. I love it. Really works, dewy, and not drying.

Thank you for showing some less expensive options. I used to use Chanel, lancome, etc. but now, knowing of the trafficking, I'll NEVER use theirs again. I'm going to try your products. I bought the Elf (16 hours, matte) concealer. Your'e right about the this concealer in your discription. I bought the two lightest color, more toward white , not yellow. I liked the result and I'm over 60. The Laura Mercer concealer is still my favorite though.

Hi, Nikkol, I purchased the first 2 when you introduced them on one of your tutorials on concealers. They ARE EXCELLENT. I purchased extra ones just in case they are discontinued. They work and cover all the shadows one might have. They also last all day and blend in perfectly. You can't beat the price on these, so I get them while they are still affordable. I found the Incognito concealer and I've been using it for at least a year.. it covers great. I'd say it's almost as good tarte shape tape.. that's my favorite High end one.. I set the incognito one and it stays all day and it isn't heavy at all and it totally covers dark circles and I also use ELF Camo concealer.concealed.. and also sets very well with powder.. Great picks..!! SO GLAD I FOUND YOUR CHANNEL. GREAT CONTENT..☺️👍🙋🏼‍♀️🎉

I LOVE this video! I want to first say, you are beautiful without a drop of makeup! You talk about your pigmentation, but it is not as “glaring” to me as it is to you. You are beautiful, inside and out. Because of your previous review of Incognito, it is my go to. It stays on very well for me and I feel as though it doesn’t fall into my giant lines and wrinkles I’m 75). My next trip to the drugstore will be to try the Revlon concealer. Hi Kelly, Dollar Tree has color corrector in various colors including Pink...I mix a little of the Pink with my concealer, also a little with my sunscreen or foundation for the area where you would apply Blush...hope this works for you... .

I really like Revlon's Candid concealer, which has been discontinued, although I did buy backups. I might try the newer Revlon concealer you recommend. Ordinarily I'm not a fan of the squeeze/foam applicators, but this one tempts me.

Hi Nikol! This is the first time that I am commenting on anything.. Every now and then I used to watch Dominiqu on you tube ( I am sure that I am spelling that wrong) she was very good but then all of a sudden this woman with big grey hair popped up and I was like hmm she has amazing hair and started watching you. Now I am only watching you because my time is limited with work and family. I just thought you should know that I belive your hair is probably your best marketing strategy. I just bought your book because I knew you looked familiar and while I was watching I was thinking, this is so weird, she has a face of 30 and then grey hair so how old is she.... I think that question in my head kept me watching you and then I realized that you know what your talking about and you are so funny, your comments are too much, the Studio 54 one, haha... I worked in NY for a long time when I was younger in cosmetics on Madison Ave. I changed careers 20 years ago to do what I was meant to do, I am an adolescent substance use counselor and now run a treatment center. Sorry for the book but I would want to know who is watching me if I was you. I will be purchasing your products and you should plug them more, they look great! I could have used this yesterday when I was at Target. I bought a concealer that moved around too much. I have no problem taking back products that I don’t like, don’t work, wrong color, to scented, etc.

Do you use ever suggest using concealer in nasobial folds to fill and reduce debt and appearance of shadows? In college drama/makeup classes, we were taught to apply darker color to deepen appearance of folds lines to age face and slightly lighter color than base fill and lessen appearance of folds. One issue females, in 60’s and over “faced” was lack of knowledge or availability of sunscreen products when young. Enjoy your channel and your joy in presentations.

I would not recommend, I tried that a while ago and it was awful! I remember when I ordered it and was so excited to try it, could not wait.. it was a big dissapointment. I felt I needed to leave a comment so you don't waste your money..If you are looking for medium to full coverage, try Estee Lauder Double Wear, it is the best foundation, I have been using it for years. The trick is to add a drop of advanced night repair to it and mix it in before you apply with a damp beauty blender and you must prep your skin with a moisturizer first. Good luck:)

Hi Missy, this is what I use: when I'm all done with my makeup I use a stick sunscreen to go over the areas you mention in an upward motion, if you do it 2x or more during the day always an upward stroke...give it a little time to melt in...hope this works for you...

My question, Beautiful Nikol, is a bit of an odd aside. At 67, the skin on my forehead has developed a patch of vitilligo. I like wearing my hair away from my face but am feeling self conscious. The area is a slightly lighter color, but the smooth, lack of pigmentation also makes it noticeable. The closest I've come to concealing the problem is with a self-tanning product which I try very carefully to apply just on that patch. It succeeds in darkening the patch but is still noticeable. How do you recommend that I even out my forehead coloration? By the way, I have brown eyes, warm toned olivey skin, and am 3 months in going gray cold turkey. Thank you for any advice you can offer. I know you didn't ask me, but there are cosmetics that are specifically made to cover vitiligo, melasma, etc, such as Dermablend and Estee Lauder Double Wear Maximum Cover. If you don't want a full coverage foundation, both those lines have full coverage concealers that should match your skin shade to cover any lighter patches. Hope that helps.

my under eye area is the worst. Deep hollow lines and no matter what concealer, i use I just look terrible in pictures just see the hollows and the prominent half circle line under it. Any ideas on how to cover? I used to use incognito but for under eye I have been using the revlon recently because the finish is so nice and buildable.

I really like the way you explain the reasons and how-to apply the various make-ups. I have a dark spot on the upper side of my face about an inch down and to the side from my eye area. I try to use concealer to cover it. But according to directions concealer is only for the undereye/triangle area. What do I use to cover dark/age spot? My foundation is not working very well with coverage.

You can use concealer ANYwhere on the face! Be sure to apply moisturizer first. Some also apply a makeup primer which helps to prevent creasing.
