On my first playthrough, I had a nuclear upgrade called "3 factor authentication" which stopped power plants from having accidents, but have not seen that upgrade on any subsequent runs. Not sure if it was removed or if I had triggered it somehow that one time and haven't done so again.

I wish you used the exterior view more often, especially when taking off from a location, it's really nice to see the planet / object disappear as the Tiqqun speeds up.. Arriving whilst in exterior view is equally impressive. If you start the move whilst paused, you can unpause in the exterior view to not miss a thing.. In the prologue chapter you can go to most Sol planets pre-lunaclysm to see them up close. Well worth the effort 😅

First of all: Nice Content Nilaus! Keep it up! Secondly: Here is my Theory (didnt play the game, only watched this series, so no spoilers): The CEO of DOLOS (dont remember his name) is behind it all, everything that happened was according to plan: 1. Destroy Earth and decimate Humanity. 2. Escape with a few handpicked survivors and rebuild on an new world. 3. Reveal yourself as Humanitys saviour and become Ruler of Humanity or even ascend to "Godhoud" Here are some clues: - Deliberately destroy Earth: Well it did happen, wehen it clearly did not have to, the VOHLE-Drive did not need to trigger the lunarclism. The UN-VHOLE-Drive did not have this Cataclysmic Sideeffect. Furthermore, why fire up the engine in the first fieldtest near the moon, why not somewhere else? The UN branded DOLOS as Enemys of Humanity, simply becaus they are, maybe they uncovered the plan but it was already to late. - Escape and find new home: We have seen that other members of the marduk-council did go on to build stations throuout the Solarsystem, but there was no trace of our good CEO. The remaing Mardouk-Council-Members also seemed to have fought or at least competed witz eachother, because the CEO just vanished and the coucil collapsed without clear leadership. Maybe he is hiding on the Tiqqun, he might even be or be behind EDDEN - its acting a bit suspicious lately ... - Become Ruler or "God" of Humanity: After Humanitys survival is ensured, he can reveal himself as having guided the crew all along. As we have seen, the administrator is not ever present in person among the crew (he is conected directely to the systems of the Tiqqun i think), the crew have alredy suspected that something else may be leading them, they dont know whats really going on. So the CEO can easily claim, it was him all along and countinue the role of the Administrator, which is for the moment effectifly the "Ruler" of Humanity. For the Godhoud part: Doesnt it surprise you, that there ist no Protocol forbidding the Tiqqun to be sanctified when ist was brought up by someone among the crew. There are so many safetyregulations, but creating a Religious Cult among a scientific vessel is ok. Not even the NAOMI-Protocol is needed? Furthermore, the are some Tooltips (for example in the techtree), where members of the mardouk-council were quoted with some very strange stuff, kind of occult things. It is also not a minor thing, there is a building called the "Temple of the Hull", maybe to drive the crew closer to a religious worldview, to make them more compliant in exepting a new "God". So maybe the CEO wanted it all to happen to claim absolute power over humanity. Of course, all the clues can be explained differently, but all of them combined paint a picture that might fit for this theory ... i hope we find out soon what is actually going on here.

If you look at the event at ep6 21:00, it implies that brains can be uploaded and become P.A.s in this story. So I think CEO dude's brain was uploaded and made into the Protagoras' P.A., Valhalla, and got rekt along with the ship by the Etemenanki. It's the same voice, and it even says "some part of me still remembers you". Which is super anti-climatic, because I agree with you that destroying the Earth was deliberate by him, so he should be an endgame villain kinda guy, not one that was at the mercy of the administrator to backup/save him or not during the Protagoras events.

@@jandin8862 I dindnt even notice the voice being the same, good ear there! Well this kinda disproves my Theory, but makes me even more exited to the end of the Story. Overall i think, the Story (and the cutscenes) is where the game shines! Sadly such games are rare, most likely because after the First playthroug the tension is gone, so there are not a lot of people playing it more than once, so difficult to sell and make a Profit from for the Gaming-Companies ...

His character doesn't strike me as the kind who wants to rule, more likely he genuinely wanted to start a new society with new values based on what the crew of Tiqqun experienced on their journey that started in the future. And if they didn't survive, he would try to guide the Protagoras personally, a shorter time from the Lunaclysm.

Very disapointed in this episod. Theres actualy nothing happening for 15 out of 17 minutes. Id just scrap this one and merge it with next. That said. Im aa great fan of Nilaus and all your work. You have a unique playstyle and explaning which keeps me hooked . keep going.
