I agree but It's also wrong for her, to make assumptions and start making grandiose wedding plans without discussing it first with him. Is she paying for the wedding? No she is not. Maybe in her culture the wedding happens immediately after the guy ask to marry her and he's not use to that. He's not even trying to have sex with her. There are issues on both sides, a lack of communication.

@@GraduateJLN I am more than aware of that, I've been married to an African woman for 9 years. The difference was we actually TALKED about a good date, she actually ASKED me. Niles is not use to dealing with women, he's being push into this too soon. More than likely he didn't know marriages happen right away in Africa after the man propose. That's a major cultural difference BOTH individuals need to understand. It's not like that in the US. Niles didn't say he wasn't going to marry her at all. If she is willing to wait another 6 months give him time to save the money, and not have this ASSUMPTION he's going to bring her to the US things will be fine. He would be taking a big risk by bringing her to the US.

We’ve seen multiple times on this show that these men will constantly make promises they can’t deliver on, a lot. He has already admitted to not being honest about his finances so who knows what else he misled her on. When you met your wife was it an organic romance, or did you intentionally seek out a beautiful African woman? Because that changes the dynamic of the relationship as well. Many of these men seek out these women so the standards of the relationship are a bit skewed from the jump.
