My brother stopped by and delivered a 2.5 pound beef brisket and said canyon do a video? I said ok. This is the first time making beef brisket burnt ends in the Ninja Foodi Grill or. the Ninja Foodi. So I watched a few BBQ vids and looked at a few rub recipes and came up with. this recipe. and video. Little experiment using the Ninja Food Grill-stay tuned to the end to see the results.
I added about 1/4-1/2 cup water.
Thank you so much for watching!

To steam the meat use a combo of apple cider vinegar and apple juice with brown sugar and butter.

Looks amazing. For beef and venison I baste with equal parts water, apple cider vinegar and Worcester sauce. When I slow cook, I use game or beef broth. I bet either would be delicious in the ninja. I very much enjoy your humble, home-cooking style videos. Keep them coming please!

Apple juice or pineapple juice will help with both flavor and acid for tenderizing.

I would have marinated before cooking... I'm on a kick of marinated all of my meat in buttermilk. Has made a huge difference for me, especially as far as tenderness goes... if extra liquid was needed, I might have poured in a little beer or even just some beef bouillon. Looks delicious. I am now inspired!

I understand marinating pork or chicken but you do not need to marinate beef, especially in buttermilk.

What is the feature you used before you removed them to put them in the foil? It was in the time line 3:24-3:30. Was it grill? Air fry?

I clean it with Members mark grill cleaner couple times a week. Spray it well place in ziplock bag overnight. If not clean enough do it again lol. I’m almost out if cleaner😛. Sams club carries it. It’s also in Amazon but more expensive. But oven cleaner should work just as well. Definitely making these again- lower temp and liquid smoke just a tiny bit for more flavor. But this worked great in a pinch- my brother said they are perfect with beer- lol. Thanks Truth Hurtz!

@@truthhurtz2793 Thee first time I used the grill cleaner it took like 3 times and I. spent some time using a paperclip releasing some. gunk that would not come off, I. also had to use a brush. But mine was very greasy and gunky. Now I try to maintain it but I use. the grill almost daily and sometimes a couple. times a day. I was. going to purchase another one but they. are out of stock online at Ninja Kitchen.

@@mikec.4178 Great Mike-you may have to use a brush as well and clean it a few times to get it back to new. There is no magic bullet. Just try to clean it after. everyone and then deep clean it frequently.

Hi, Lisa great to see another video again. Well, in answer to your question I guess I would just use Bisto, not very imaginative I hear you say but that's all I have in my cupboard. Would you have considered pressure cooking the Brisket first Lisa?
@pressurecrisp
@pressurecrisp 4 жыл бұрын
Hi. David! had to look. Bisto up-lol. I. would like to try PC'ing the brisket first then air crisping in the future. It may make for a more tender brisket bite. Will have to do. a bit of research for a PC time-you don't want to to fall apart-this is what I read online from a few BBQ blogs. Thanks David!

@@flybe146 lol we have gravy packs that are probably similar. And Slap ya Mama is a popular cajun spice. I find it amazing that the US has so many food cultures within the country.
