Just bought a new house, close in the middle of August. Once I'm settled in there and have things setup we'll have a part 2! Plus I have another epic arcade to showcase!!

I love the design and how clean everything looks. I've been looking into multi-console arcade cabinet mods and I was wondering if you had the design plans, and maybe hardware specs, because I found this design to be one of the best on youtube currently. But I'm really fascinated at how great it turned out!
@stevenoah96934 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I do not have specific layout plans as this was honestly a "rough sketch build" that (surprisingly) came out great after a plethora of of touch ups/adjustments!

There is a USB switcher and HDMI switcher, I wired the switch buttons on both of them to the top of the control panel with 20 gauge wire and solder

I know it's a long shot to get a response from a video made over a year ago... But what are you using as a switcher to swap from USB to HDMI all whilst using the same arcade controls?

How much did this all cost you?
@smartfixnc76254 жыл бұрын
Hard to say honestly. It took me almost two years to build because I did it slowly and kept adding onto it. Started out as a retro only bartop, then turned into a full size multi console full-sized arcade. Best guess is $1000, minus the consoles and games. Heres my rough breakdown: Wood - $60 Paint - $30 Bondo - $10 27" 1080p monitor -$120 usb switcher - $40 hdmi switcher - $60 piano hinge - $10 logitech speaker/subwoofer system - $45 Sanwa buttons/sticks - $100 Marquee light $30 RGB lighting $50 smart power strip - $50 raspberry pi with power supply - $50 SD card - $20 Brooks UFB (controller PCB's that recognize XB1, N Switch, PS4, PC, Etc.) - $200 Random shit/tools needed - PRICELESS

And thats before including the vinyl cutter ($250), vinyl, nintendo switch dock, xbox one x, and all the digital games for both systems!
@smartfixnc76254 жыл бұрын
and theres more than that, t molding, plexiglass, other paint (bezel), door handle (on the back, will be in next video), shelving, hardware (nuts, carriage bolts, screws glue, fasteners)
