This was great. It looks like you didn't press down the hood with enough force on the right side and the secondary latch isn't engaged. There is a latch on each side of the hood. This happens to my 2017 as well from time to time.

Blake Swan no it's not the same car. The transmission is around 30k and it's all new. The interior is all new. The materials are new. The turbos, intercooler and engine internals are new. The body aero is new. Suspension and wheels are new. Structural changes in the frame are new. The engineering and development cost has to be accounted for. Looks can be deceiving if you don't read

Anthony Datuin they didn't press down the hood on the right correctly to engage the right side latch. Drove me nuts too. Same thing happens on my GTR from time to time. Just have to apply the correct force.
