How was the 2013?
@monkeexx1x Жыл бұрын
@@ivansaligo2783 It was everything I could have expected…stupid fast car. When I traded it in it had only 12k. I buyers dream I should have asked 75k for it but let it go for 68k. Perfect condition. It was my daily/only car but only work 3 miles away. So YES I did enjoy it!!!

Very good and detailed review! Bought mine (new) 2016 as a MY2015 Black Edition model and are really happy with it! No issues so far but need to admit being a gentlemen driver neither driving on track nor using Launch Control, just having 7.500 miles on it up to date... love the mechanical sound and the feeling the car provides to you. 2017+ models of course have a more upgraded interior and front/rear bumper look you have to like.... Everyone who consideres to buy one dare it! Everyone who owns one keep it! The R35 GT-R is a masterpiece, a legend...

Regarding the Takumi requiring 60,000hrs of experience, I did the math and it comes to exactly 0 years of work!! 30 years, 50 weeks, 5 days of work, 8hrs/day. I triple checked bc 30 years was a hella long time!

good overview of the car from a non-media person which I appreciate. just one minor correction: The GTR is not a sports car, it is a GT class car (2+2), like a Mustang, Camaro, Challenger, 911. it would not be compared to the likes of a Cayman, S2000, Z, Supra.
@Miguelsgarage Жыл бұрын
Thanks! I appreciate your comment!! 🙏🏼 regarding the class for the GTR, many people call it many things… some even categorize it as a SUPERCAR. However, I always try to go to the root, the people who created the thing… and they call it a sports car. It’s right on their website.

I'm a huge Supra fan/owner, but the best car out of Japan, is the R35!
@Miguelsgarage Жыл бұрын
The best car out of japan is the LFA.
@FernieAriel2 ай бұрын
@@MiguelsgarageThe LFA is the best sounding car to come out of Japan. But not the best overall car. The GT-R is in a league of its own. Every other Japanese car has to get tuned up like crazy to compete with it.

Many people find ways to purchase these cars, but never really think about what is necessary to maintain them. Imagin having just enough to pay the payment and then you need a ten grand transmission repair or 7k brake job? Sheesh. Even after market, those carbon ceramic rotors run about 1300 a set. Now they can last for a very long time with moderate use. But if heavy on the track, I hope you have a very thick budget set aside to maintain this beauty. I do still wish to buy one. I hope next year once this divorce is over. We shall see.

How to buy a Gtr .. DONT . These cars are the biggest overhyped overrated overpriced balls of scrap on the road. Horrible driving experience mixed with shocking noisy gearboxes, cheap economy garbage interior materials used , fake leather & plastic galore & also rust issues around door mirrors mounts , bootlid & crap thin paintwork .
