I have 2 cracks on each side of the soft smooth plastic at the top. Before I replace center dash console, is there a epoxy/buffing out process to correct this? I'm glad I can have center part swapped out only, and not entire dash. But if I can address these 2 cracks, it would be alot better.

Try e6000 glue. Might could add a few drops of paint to color match.?

I broke mine today trying to get to the center speaker for my audio upgrade. I just lifted up carefully and it shattered. Yup, $80.00. I ordered it today. The company who makes these replacement bezels must be making a killing!

@@Outdoors4adventure Thanks! Its something I can handle. I did a bed swap this summer. It was rusted out from these Northeast winters. I was challenging, but doable. I should buy stock from Rustoleum being I used so much of it on the frame. LOL!

That plastic gets really brittle over the years. You’re good for another 14 years now! 😃 A handy shim material is the fuzzy side of Velcro. Have a great day my friend and be safe out there!

Tim, I was worried about the same thing when I was working on my Dash, a 12 year Old Florida Car lives through some rough abnormally Hot and Sunny Days, It's so brittle... Sorry about the Breakage, but good advice for others to learn by 😉♥️👍

I kinda figure it was going to crack on its own before long anyway. Now it will have a updated USB charge port. Lol just as well upgrade a bit while its pulled apart. Have a great weekend.

There is always coffee close. I just roasted 2lbs this evening. When the fresh roast is ground I think its a slice of heaven. I wasn't planning on this little repair . There is always something to do around here for sure. Much rather be in the woods though. Have a nice night 🌙.
