Im interested in one of these but did they fix the problem with the rear automatic braking? People say you have to dig into the menus to turn it off every time you start the car, despite being hooked up to a trailer and in tow mode. Can nissan or anyone confirm if this has been fixed throigh software update? Its one of the sole reasons im considering pilot instead

After further review, we can confirm starting with the model year 2023, the Rear Automatic Braking feature can be disabled when in reverse by pressing the "OK" button on the steering wheel during the Parking Aids popup. Please note the Rear Automatic Braking has to be disabled every time you start the vehicle, there is no "memory." Additionally, this feature is re-enabled when: the vehicle speed exceeds 10MPH, the shifter is put in P park or N neutral, and when the ignition is turned off and restarted. You left out the part where the backup safety stops you from backing til you override it EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU START AND STOP THE ENGINE!!!! Or the fact that you can't turn off the annoying alarm. I really liked my 2024 Pathfinder until I towed with it. Had I known when I bought it, I never would have. You could turn that crap off with my 2019 Titan. Not any more. So much for Nissan. Next one will be a Toyota!!

It would be cool if you’d shown what the Pathfinder really could tow. A proper sized caravan instead of that piddly little thing. 😂 The caravans that Pathfinders and Navaras tow here in New Zealand are some of the most punishing to pull but the Nissan range pull with ease.
