Insignia 24 inch 1080p Fire TV

Great video, I think this is one of the few 1080p TVs in this small size that has optical audio and component video! Old school I know but my mom has an older DVD player with that input that works just fine so I’ve been scouring the internet for a TV that’s small but isn’t a total hunk of junk that has both of those older inputs and this is the winner. Old sound bar and old DVD player will work great with this.

Don't buy it, I bought one I don't know why he doesn't bring this up. The colors are self-fated it's like watching a TV and a fog. No matter what you do with the settings you cannot get a nice looking picture. The viewing angles are horrendously bad if you're not looking directly at it it's even worse. I went out and took it back and bought a Western digital 720p Roku TV Yes even at 7:20 p the picture is multiple times better The viewing angles are multiple times better.

@@JoeBuck207 why in the world would I lie about that? The cars were completely washed out, I took it back and purchased a Roku TV the colors are 100% better The sound wasn't quite as good I bought a $25 speaker and I got the best of both worlds.

Don't buy it, this review is not true. I don't know what he's even talking about, when I purchase this TV this colors were sulfated out if you don't look at the TV directly straight it's even worse. Even my 83-year-old mother looked at it and said why is this TV so faded. Took it back, bought the western digital Roku TV instead. I like fire TVs, but this should not even be sold

How is the viewing angle on the display? Some customer reviews say it's wide and some say it's narrow and colors get washed out. BB and Amazon doesn't list the viewing angle on their specs section either.

Blu-ray is in 1080p, and I copy my Blu-ray Disc/main movie to a external hard drive and plug the hard drive into my smart TV and I call it Myflix. 😂

Just purchased the 32" 1080p version for my son's room... he mostly watches KZbin videos and plays on his PS5... he was doing this on the 55" 4K living room TV, but the living room eventually became my son's room as he was always hogging the TV, so I bought this 32" TV to liberate the living room TV for the rest of the family! He's happy with the 32" in his own room, and the rest of the family is happy we got our living room TV back! As for the TV itself, it's a great value with the built-in apps and Fire TV features, and the 1080p is a nice step up from the older 720p models.

To be clear, TVs and monitors dont control the FPS of your games (your computer does), rather the refresh rate of the TV is the limiting factor of how many FPS a TV/monitor will display up-to. You can have a computer that spits out 120fps in your favorite game, but if your monitor or TV only has a 60hz refresh-rate you're only going to see 60fps.. most TVs, especially cheaper TVs are only ever going to have the industry standard of 60hz refresh rates... if you want to see games displayed at high FPS (above 60) you'll need a monitor that has a high refresh rate (like 144hz/165hz/240hz, etc)... this is incredibly rare in most TVs, especially cheaper TVs, you'll need a high refresh rate gaming monitor to see those high FPS games above 60fps.

I had just bought that TV and took it right back. The sound is fantastic, I like fire TV. But the colors were so washed out so terrible. I just couldn't take it anymore after a few days. Went out and bought a 720p Western digital Roku TV for a writer on the same price $4 more. The sound is not as good on the Roku TV. With that said the picture is a hundred times better at 720 p then the 1080p fire TV. The sun on a Western digital is but what you would expect on a small TV, the insignia is the little better than you would expect on a small TV. The picture on the insignia fire TV is so bad I just cannot even comprehend that they can sell a TV today with such a washed out look. It's no wonder why you can't see any of them set up in any of the stores.

I bought a two don't you find that the TV's completely washed out. I literally took it back to buy a 720p Western digital TV The colors the viewing angles are a hundred times better. The sound isn't quite as good as the insignia. But either way I know how you can live with them faded out colors especially playing video games
