Argothian Wurm and Endless Wurm were two of, and probably my favorite green creatures way back when. I was a major Timmy lol. Serra Avatar was and still is if I’m being honest my all time favorite.

Massacre wurm is my personal favorite because Of the -2-2 ability and you killed off all the small creatures weaken all bigger stuff so then I can just swing with all my creatures and not worry about the crack back

Harvest Wurm had a counterpart called Fallow Wurm, that required you to pitch a land card to the yard. So T3 Fallow Wurm, T4 Harvest Wurm for no net loss of lands.

I am surprised to not see Armada Wurm from RtR or Sifter Wurm from HoD I though they were quite popular the sifter literally had a deck archetype name if I remember well.

So, Armada Wurm did have one point, but I chose the others to make the list over it. Sifter Wurm has 0 points, which surprised me too. Same with Pelakka Wurm.

"To be a wurm or not to be, that is in fact a question no one ever asked" Seriously though, neat video for such a limited selection of cards.

It's less that it feels rushed and more like you have no breathing room between the entries. Instead of going straight from one entry to the next, you should let the card fade out and add 0,5-1 second of "silence" to calm the mood.

Ive played worldspine wurm in my green devotion deck during theros I was able to turn 2 it once at an fnm with a mad nut draw. Turn 1 elvish mystic turn 2 nykthos shrine to nyx drop 3 burning tree emissary activate nykthos for 6 into garruk caller of beasts minus to lay down worldspine wurm.

Yeah it has a point there, it is one of the decks that has instant speed reanimation spells. It also has the Green Shoal to gain a ton of life with the Wurm, but yea.

i really loved the fires decks with flametongue kavu and shivan wurm... But quited after the invasion block so never saw any play of the later wurms... I did end 2nd in a extended tournament with a green stompy deck that used mana acceleration with birds and llanowar elves, tangle wire on turn2 to slow the opponent down and then slow them even more down with plow under and as top end creature argothian wurm.. only lost to a Kudzu deck when the errata of that card said that kudzu came back on the field everytime you sacrificed it. Add in an atog that wants you to sacrifice enchantments to create a huge minion or a way to get unlimited HP and you win with a combo.. plow under didnt work there.. stupid errata always brought kudzu back..

A while ago I requested that you put an annotation or timestamp in the description that slipped past your intro and I think you were confused. What I meant was someway that skipped everything right to beginning of the top 10 list. Because for your videos it usually varies from a minute to two. Because after watching so many, there are some of us who really don't need the pretense you provide and want to jump to the list. Thanks.

Nope, I wasn't confused! I don't like using a time stamp because the intro part usually has some relevant information in it, such as how I categorized something, how many cards qualified, sometimes I talk about the history if it is a mechanic. The intro is not the same every time, so doing that doesn't make sense to me. The part about the score is the same, but it it short.

I knew wurmcoil was going to be number one. I run 3 in my sideboard of my vintage deck. Nothing is scarier than: play a mishra's workshop; play black lotus, sack, tap, wurmcoil engine. If they dont have a force of will in hand; it will get game over very soon. Turn one or two dropping that into play will make anyone sweat

Symbiotic Wurm is a rip off from HS "Violet Wurm". Same cost, same size, and same deathrattle effect. Even the name is simular, and the art, too! Can't be just a coincidence. Also, too bad none of these cards are in the MTGA, just started playing it and its quite fun.

Just in case you're being serious and not simply joking : Symbiotic Wurm was printed in Onslaught, in the year 2002. That's 12 years before Hearthstone even existed, and 15 years before Violet Wurm was made.

My favorite wurm isn't on the list. Deathcoil Wurm, a 7/6 for 6GG may seem a bit too expensive, but you can choose to have it deal damage as if it isn't blocked, which means that you can swing with it at least once to take a huge chunk out of your opponent's life total as long as it can make it to the point of combat where damage resolves. Also, I like the art for it, which is a tiny consideration, but worth mentioning.
