So what is your point behind your claim that he looks younger? He should be grateful that he can still do things he could had done in his mid 30s? Furthermore what does your claim have to do with the point of this video, that a man was the victim of a feminist initiative which doesn't offer innocent men due process, it didnt allow them to defend themselves to the fullest extent by limiting the technology and evidence they can present in court to prove their innocence, and ultimately treating them as if they were guilty until proven innocent. Are you try to downplay this man's suffering by implying that he looks younger than what he really is. God forbid a woman served 20 years for a crime she didnt commit the pity for her would be endless, the comments pointing out the toll that jail took on that poor innocent woman would be neverending. Gotta love how women are so good and readily able to exaggerate victimhood but downplay it even if its indirectly and in a very subtle fashion when it comes to an innocent man smh. Just like Hitlery playing victim when she got Trumped after she cheated on Bernie.

Ian Battles yah it’s a charge in itself, but in this situation, the girl Truely thought it was him. Quite odd I’d hope she’s sorry, but I️ couldn’t see anything happening to her; nevertheless, often times when innocent people are proven innocent following a guilty a verdict and the “victim” was apart of a setup, or know the defendant didn’t commit the acts, nothing happens either. The criminal justice system, sadly, is a business and “justice” is questionable due for the nessesity of paying for a good atterny, for public defendors lack heart for the defendant, and get paid the same regardless going to trial or not, so it’s in their best interest to incorage someone to plead. Criminal justice is my major lol
@b_Loopy
@b_Loopy 7 жыл бұрын
Ian Battles also I’ve seen 3 criminal court cases unfold first hand, and let me tell u, the media ALWAYS sides with the victim. Ironically, in every situation I’ve seen, the defendant was innocent! Or at least didn’t commit the acts that the media claimed they did; in other words, the media blew it WAY to far out of proportion. It isn’t a known fact, but the criminal justice system is indeed racist and sexist; despite the common belief, white males are not dominant either, it is females; more specifically, white females. With that said, it’s very easy for a girl to falsely accuse a man of something, apprised to another girl, but luckily most people aren’t out to get someone, and if they are, hopefully they have better morals than to fuck them over with something they didn’t do that could earn them a criminal title... ugh I’m done

This man was served a massive miscarriage of justice. However, if the victim acted in good faith when making her accusation, then she does not belong in jail. There is a HUGE difference with making a mistaken identity, and making a false accusation. She was raped, but pointed at the wrong man. His lawyer does not indicate any ill will on the part of the victim, she states that the victims memory of the night was poor, that she had seen him there, and he lived close by. A false accusation would be if she was not raped and claimed she was. The DNA technology we have now did not exist back when his case was tried. The true justice to be sought is to now use the DNA that is on file to find the real perpetrator(unless statute of limitations has expired, which sadly in this case likely has).
@jamiebrumant8512

@@RingoHalliday continue to convince yourself that what you are saying is true and just, If she was not sure about what her attacker looked like she had no right to point out that innocent man what she needed to do was tell the police that she was not sure secondly living next door to some one is not an excuse to see them as your rapist, It's some ones life that has been destroyed, their destiny has been altered, years from their life has been stolen by an institution that claims to have integrity and claims to be all about justice and equality .
@jamiebrumant8512
@jamiebrumant8512 11 ай бұрын
@@RingoHalliday the only true justice is to financially compensate that man so he can get a break in life to help him adjust to living in a world that would refuse to give him a proper job due to his criminal record and for all the years of income he was denied that's the least they can do if they are truly just as they claim to be , There is nothing that can be done to remove the stain from his image and character because human beens always choose to believe what they heard about some one from the start even though the evidence prove other wise plus if he has been infected with any sickness while in prison his life span would surely be shortened . It's useless trying to catch the real culprit now because of what she did it limit the chances of ever catching the real rapist too many years has gone by now .

I think "WE THE PEOPLE", should come together and ask for a new law holding those responsible for the wrongful incarceration of innocent people be held accountable and that "ALL STATES" have a min. of 50K for each year that person was held in prison. Some of these case's the prosecutor and Judge new they were sending an innocent man to prison but, wanted the public to think they had taken care of the criminals. Todays laws don't hold those accountable for sending these people to prison, that needs to change. Every other week you are reading about a person in prison being freed after years in prison. The one story last year, the black man had been wrongfully lock up for 36 years but, the state he lived in didn't give him but a 100 buck and a pay on the back, lol 36 years for something you didn't do, wow

I am one of these men. I have been falsly charged convicted sentence and am still supposed to be in prison as per michigan law. I am listed as a category three rapist according to the state registration. Yet I've never stepped foot into a court room I've never served time never was confronted by any witnesses. Yet, according to the state of michigan I am a habitual offender, meaning I've allegedly raped more than one person. I am on this registry, and the effects are devastating. I've lost my children my marriage, my lively hood, jobs, homes, threats of death by police and regular people. I love in fear of my life every day for something I've never been personally charged with. I have never served a day of prison in my life. And as of Nov. 2 I have been fighting to clear my name for ten years. Only to be threatened and nearly forces into prison by the state for false allegations of failure to register. You how was this even done. St. Clair shores police came to my house in force will I was enjoying an evening with my then wife and oldest daughter. Took me to the police station and showed me a single piece of paper with one line alleging my guilt. I attempted to walk away because of how ludicrous this sounded to me. I had just came home from the military to meet my oldest daughter for the first time as she was nearly five years old. I am a marine corps. Veteran. Well, I told them without any conviction their claim was nothing and again attempted to leave only to be detained and held until I was forced to comply with this registry. I went to every single lawyer in the metro Detroit area only to be laughed out of their offices. After losing my family to this, I moved to the northern peninsula of michigan to try to start over again. Only to be charged with failure to comply. And after a year and a half battle my name was cleared of those charges because my story checked out. Yet a year later I still have to register because they never took my name off the list. Now I am still fighting a losing battle. And I have lost my hope and faith in the system. And any chance of freedom I could have. For anyone curious my alleged conviction came in 2007 Nov. 2. And by law and what I'm charged with I should have been in prison and should still be there now.

When I was arrested and charged, I was denied bail and told by my lawyers that if I did not plead guilty I could be sitting in jail waiting longer for a trial date than the amount of time that they were seeking and that I could be given twice the amount of time or more for not taking "responsibility " if found guilty at trial. So due to those circumstances, I pled guilty knowing that I was innocent, because I didn't want to sit in jail waiting longer for a trial date than the time they were seeking, especially when prison Conditions can be cruel and unusual and trial dates can be unreasonably delayed and convictions can be wrongful and appeals can be often denied. I pled guilty knowing I was innocent because I did not want to deal with the stress, fear, frustration, malice, or the confusion caused by systemic racism. I pled guilty knowing that Elizabeth May Terry (lizzie terry) made false allegations in order to have me locked up so she could steal twenty-three thousand dollars of furniture and electronics from me in retaliation for cheating with her sister. As a victim of systemic racism you do not committ crimes, you just suffer the consequences of crimes like an innocent bystander. Systemic racism made me the victim look like the criminal and the actual criminal look like the victim. Even when you tell the truth they will make you out to to be the liar and then make the actual liar out to be the one telling the truth. They will pick sides without knowing the truth or without seeking the truth, and then concoct or make whatever side they think they can make look like the truth. Everything you say or do they use against you especially in the court of law where everyone in positions of authority are white or have to answer directly or indirectly to someone white. That's white supremacy. Racism, that has been perfected and systematized. I do not need anyone to tell me that I'm innocent when I know that I am innocent. The video proves I'm innocent. The same video that the judge refused to watch. I pled guilty knowing that I did not committ any offense, knowing that I was innocent, just to get out of jail and they knew that. Now that I'm out, I take that guilty plea right back. I giveth, therefore I taketh. I shouldn't have went to jail in the first place. They will lock you up, ruin your life, take everything from you, then release you with nothing. That's racism. They didn't have to lock me up when they knew they was eventually going to release me. They could have released me from the beginning so that I wouldn't lose everything. What a system. Not only does it tolerate racism, it requires racism.

Christians always bring up their religion as if everyone believes in it. Many Reserrection cults predate Christianity with numerous savior gods. Six of them were born of a virgin and rose from the dead. You don't think your savior god was a copy of previous cultures?

I agree. If there's no ultimate justice then life doesn't make sense. Jesus reconciles everything, in time. People will eventually pay for the wrong that they have done.

There is so many Women around the world that have suffered, and have been abused, hurt, mistreated, assaulted, physically, mentally and emotionally from mean men. However, there are still many, many Good men all around the world as well and if NON-genuine, Untruthful woman, or anyone else that decides to lie, and fabricate and make false accusations against someone, it becomes a absolute injustice to ALL, and is a embarrassment to ALL the many women who otherwise have actually been hurt or abused or assaulted, False accusations hurts everyone, because it waste precious time, and energy on what would be time otherwise spent helping the women who have been actually harmed, and really need help. I believe that making false accusations, false allegations, and or Framing of the innocent is a deplorable, despicable act. The penalty for false accusations, and allegations should be qual to the potential penalty of the innocent because of a person’s false accusations, or claims. I know money doesn’t rectify what happened to him, but he needs to be monetarily compensated for the rest of his entire life!!!

Nevada is trying to pass a bill to pay people that are wrongfully convicted. The only problem with their bill, is the case will be sealed where no one will know who did what to get the person wrongfully convicted. Thus letting that person off the hook, and no way to track if he or she wrongfully convicted more that one person to keep their conviction rates high. The person responable for the wrongfull convection should held accountable also.

Another case that shows you can be convicted on the evidence of just one person, no corroboration whatsoever. But what if the witness is mistaken (as is the case here), lying or mentally ill? There have been cases to show all three of these have happened.

What I want to know is why do some rapists that are convicted have such long prison sentences and others have none at all. I think things can happen sometimes and it's not the same degree as another form of sexual assault. Just my opinion. If you cross the wrong person and maybe you don't agree to their advances or they want you and you reject them they can accuse you. You never know. Their are plenty thousands and thousands of sexual assaults that go under the rug. I think we all make mistakes and their are different degrees of why things happen and the degree of how bad it was.
