This is all about acquiring English. To repeat sentences so that you store them in your brain and can use them (flexibly) when speaking with others. This method helps you remember new words you learn AND how to use them correctly as part of a sentence. I recommend dedicating 10-15 minutes per day on this. Start slowly. Add 10 cards for the first few days and then, 1-3 cards per day. Remember, you're going to be repeating them 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 days from the first day. They all add up over time. When you see a flashcard, do one of three things: 1) Repeat it out loud 2) Read and listen 3) Write it down Here is more information on this method: www.tofluency.com/speaking/

@@tofluency hi , want to renew my comment, I immigrated to Ireland, and have been living here for 8 months, I’m studying at college and use English on a daily basis, what I want to say is the progress that I got from Anki ( I’ve been using it 4 years now) helped me way too much than any other stuff. I just can’t help enjoying it. It’s fantastic that when you need to say something, the correct words and phrases just pop up in your brain and you express yourself. I take the sentences from Cambridge dictionary, videos, comments, wherever I see something I like. I voice them myself, checking the pronunciation on the internet. Sometimes I change it to make more memorable for me. Also I keep a diary in English and use there all the input I get. The thing that I find difficult now is simple expressions. Not that I struggle with them but i tend to use more complicated ways to say something simple and short. I don’t know why. I use other ways to say what I need but then I hear ways to say it shorter and I write it down immediately. So, I wish I could give you millions of likes. Thank you. By the way, it’s amazing to see how your channel has grown up. I love it 💛

Repetition is really important because the person can retain the meaning of the phrase in the brain. Also, repetition gives the opprotunity to the learner of improving the pronunciation. In addition, repetition technique promotes confidence in the person who is using this technique.

This is great way to learn English. You’re totally right, we only have limit time in learning English, we must make the English learning more effective. We should learn high frequently-used phrases. And then we repeat it again and again, finally we can internalize it naturally. Thanks so much~

Same here. The way English was taught when I was young was awful. It was mainly based on grammar and listening comprehensions/ writing/reading. We spoke very little. That's why, I think, a lot of people in France can read English, they can understand oral English, but they have trouble speaking English. Hopefully, things have changed quite a lot - even though it's not perfect, not even close.

You are right, repetition is needed. I have realised that while listening audio books many good sounding sentences, which may be used in proper situations, just pass by. Probably it worth to try anki for getting over and over them. Unfortunately, my experience with anki was not so good, as it had been taking a lot of time for making cards, shuffling them, and do it regularly. Anyway, probably I'll try it again, but this time in small doses and in the most easiest way, like making cards only one-sided just with a chunk of text and a piece of audio.
