No Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

This has been a favorite of our family for years! Always at Christmas.

This is absolutely one of my favorite cookies / treats. I make these every year for the Christmas boxes which go out to family and friends across the country with other goodies. I usually take small muffin papers, and put them because it contains them a bit and it makes for a great bite size treat.

When I make these cookies, if I don’t let it boil for at least 2 minutes over medium high heat (then stir in the peanut butter, oats & vanilla flavoring)the cookies don’t get firm.
