This is the healthiest version of all chinese wrappers! The traditional of very oily all kind of deep frying foods= Transfat that causes various kind of health problem.Thanks for your healthy tips as always.

oh my goodness, bless your heart!! I am diabetic and the wrappers are just a little too much for me, put my blood sugar up .. but I still want to have them, this solves my problem. woooohoooooo!!!

The Oyster sauce is high in sugar. I am pre diabetic. What I did was put a tiny bit of Oyster sauce with a very low ketchup. This did not impact my Blood sugar levels

I made this, I don't eat pork so I used chicken thigh and chopped it into mince. I also used kale instead of spinach cause that is what I had in my garden. I used mushroom soy instead of normal cause I never had it. I chopped 1 shallot with the spring onion and a little fish sauce. 1 green chili chopped fine and finally I added chopped chives to the whisked egg everything else the same. They came out amazing. Only 1 dumpling was a fail. When I make this next time I shall use my adaptation of this recipe but I will add minced prawn with the chicken. Thank you for this recipe really good.

I found a recipe. Google dumpling wrappers/egg roll wrappers. So far I haven't found the premade. I wish. Keto Connect is a good KZbin channel to check out as well.

I love you for this Mandy! My mother-in-law used to make this all the time and they were so good. She became too old to cook anymore and passed away recently. I thought I would never be able to eat these anymore in my life but thanks to you, I'm going to pay homage to my wonderful mother-in-law and make these for part of our Chinese New Year menu. A suggestion to help. Replace cornstarch with potato starch. And only use a half of the original corn starch. It works wonders on the egg wrapper, more stable, and can go very thin. :)

I would also like to say how much I enjoy your informative videos. My favorite are your pickling videos. There is no electricity where I live and storing food is a challenge. Pickling extends the life (literally!) of the foods we get. Thank you for sharing your recipes, techniques and family lore!

I watch YT on my phone. We charge our USB tech on that. We have a lot of sun our way. We also have a small gen for those days when it's cloudy/stormy/snowy.

my mom used to make these with just meat, and she would make the dumplings using a cast iron ladle over an open flame and finish cooking them in a wok with a sauce. Thank you for bringing back my memories.

Thank you for the recipe! I like the idea of using a small frying instead of using a ladle. My mother-in-law uses a ladle, but that doesn't work on an electric stove. I also like the idea of adding vegetables. Thank you so much!

I have one of those little tiny frying pans - it's supposed to be for frying one egg, or one hamburger. I bought it in the supermarket - they were hanging on a hook next to the eggs. I'm going to try those egg "wrappers"!

Really nice recipe, thanks! I managed to do them first try. Also, I cooked them like Gyoza (oiled pan, then add boiling water and cover, then finish uncovered. I also used beef), tasted amazing :}

Use gluten free soy and oyster sauce though. Most of these sauces have gluten.

Looks amazing - I will definitely try them using both Gluten-Free Soy Sauce and Oyster Sauce - which generally are not GF as they contain wheat. Being Celiac - I crave and miss my Chinese dumplings! Thank you so much!
