I remember one of my cousins who had this game and we played it a lot. I remember liking it and I still like it, but it definitely hasn't aged well and isn't the best game, far from it. Same with Turok 2008 (I grew up with the original Turok games and was disappointed by it, but still enjoyed it.)

@@DioTheKnife Cabela's video games has already jumped the shark multiple times (like the Yeti final boss in Dangerous Hunts 2 and the origin of the Kaftar in 2011. Interestingly, the Kaftar legend is essentially an African Skinwalker. I mean, exactly like a Skinwalker), so they might as well do this. The only other dinosaur hunting games that exist is the Carnivore series.

Seeing the Activision logo and then the Cauldron logo immediately after gave me Deja Vu from Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2011. Update: After watching this, yeah it looks like one of the newer Dangerous Hunts games like 2011 or 2013. Some of the fonts in the UI are the same. I want to see someone make a modern hunting game inspired by older Cabela's games (back when they were actually hunting games), like Dangerous Hunts 1 (I want to see a horror game that's inspired by Dangerous Hunts 1 that replicates the graphics and sound effects. I'm not talking about Squirrel Stapler).

A good shooter you should get is Singularity. It can best be described as 'Russian Bioshock'. While the mechanics are rather simple, it has a fun plot about time-travel and manipulation, and it has a lot of creative ideas. It was one of those games I quite liked, and wished could have been more explored. A bit of advice- ditch the pistol first chance you get, one of the worst videogame pistols in history.

I returned Turok and BEAT this game, if you ever do it again Matt yes there are bigger and better weapons and the final boss of the game is a spinosaurus who attacks your base made of logs and bullshit and it's awesome.
