NO-FRY Fried Rice Ingredients:
2 Cups Basmati Rice
31/2 Cups water
1/2 Cup dark Soy Sauce
1 small yellow onion, chopped
5-6 green onions, chopped
1 tablespoon Pam's Preps All-Purpose Seasoning (www.pamspreps.com)
1/4 cup each protein of choice if using
1/4 cup of each vegetable of choice
1 -2 teaspoons cinnamon

I had my first stent put in at 45, fortunately I did not have a heart attack. I just simply had the blockages and caught it when I brought myself to the hospital thinking I was having an anxiety attack! I'm just here to tell you that is a terrifying experience, but you will get past. You will make the changes necessary to make your life healthy so you can have many many years beyond today.😊

I used to say that every morning I had to be at work at five minutes after five and I would say if the Lord is willing and the creek don’t rise I’ll see you guys tomorrow morning at 5:05😂😂😂😂 but I always praise God and thank him for waking me up in the morning whatever kind of day I have to face in this place and God bless each and everyone of you.

I like to make a large volume of rice in my rice cooker and freeze in serving size containers. Recently I learned that by freezing cooked rice it changes the molecular structure in that it lowers the glycemic index of it. If you use brown rice, it decreases significantly the glycemic index. This would help those with diabetes to occasionally enjoy rice in their diet.

​A lot of Fat East Asians use their own rice in recipes... not always Basmati. I've done lots of Asian recipes since age 19 & varieties of rices are used. This is a good recipe tho'. @@edenheaven5175

The same goes for pasta, and baked potatoes, or sliced potatoes. Cook them, put them in the fridge for 24 hours then warm up or use the next day however you like such as a cold pasta salad. 🙂

Since I had them on hand, I added sesame oil to water, used teaspoon of 5-spice powder instead of the cinnamon, and some finely chopped scallions when rice almost cooked. So good! Thanks!

Fried rice is so good and pretty versatile Meat, shrimp, just veggies When I cook rice or pasta, instead of plain water, I use one of my containers of homemade broth. So much flavor. Wonderful fried rice recipes

Never thought of cinnamon in fried rice, but I use it in several savory dishes. Pam, have you ever added Sesame Oil to your fried rice ? I think I need to add a splash to this. I love my Sesame Oil ! Thanks Pam, this recipe looks delish !! 😋😋

Yes I have and I love the flavor of sesame oil but keeping the oil content down in this recipe but yes do add it. It’s a finishing oil so it will be perfect

Yes you can use the cinnamon (I've used it before) but I usually use 5 spice 🫚 (it's got cinnamon in it) both spices are used widely in Chinese/Asian cooking. I just love Miss Pam.

I did this about a two months ago. I actually use the Jasmine rice that you microwave for 90 second but I just remove the dry rice without microwaving from the package and added my ingredients into the wok. I added shrimp, chicken, bacon and some steak egg that I had scrambled and onions . I added soy sauce and some peanut oil prior. Was amazing.
