I live in Italy, here where it’s rougher than other countries. Since our gym has been closed for a while, we decided to pay our monthly membership of the month we couldn’t train into a “fundraiser”. We will then donate what we gather to a hospital. Just today we raised 700€. Our sensei was very proud, and so am I: proud of my gym, and of the fighters community! Especially since mine is a small gym, from a small town of only 16k people. If you guys go to a gym that has to be closed, you could suggest the same thing we did: the money that the athletes would have payed anyway for the monthly membership could all go to a collective “pool”, and then donated or to research or to local hospitals! Let’s kick some ass, as fighters, all together! 🙏🏼🙇🏻♂️

Shane, please wear light coloured shorts when you're on a dark background like your wall mats so we can see how your whole body moves. In this video (maybe because of the new string LEDs) your shorts blend into the background and make it difficult to visualize the whole body movement. Thanks for this video : )

You do such an excellent job at explaining things. You emphasized the necessity for footwork in all styles of fighting, you illustrated the proper technique for footwork so people don't overextend, all while showing how this defensive mindset can chain into counters for anything from muay thai, boxing, or even MMA. Been following you for years and never stopped loving your stuff.
