Hello everyone.
This is my no knead bread recipe dutch oven style in cold oven with chorizo. You will see that for this recipe the crust is not hard as the usual dutch oven style crusty bread and its delicious.
Ingredients:
Salt 1 1/2 Tbsp
Flour 3 cups
Instant yeast 1 tsp
Chorizo 1
Water 325ml
Semolina ( optional )
Method
Combine flour, salt and yeast
Add in chopped chorizo and mix then add warm water
Note that the water should be warm not hot or cold or the yeast won't work.
Cover and let it rise for 8 to 12 hour
Once dough has risen sprinkle some semolina over a bench, transfer your dough and shape your bread.
Transfer to a lined oven proof dish and placed your lid then bake for 30 minutes in the hottest setting in your oven.
Note the oven is off then turn it on and set the timer.
After the 30 minutes has elapsed remove the lid and bake for another 30 minutes.
Remove and let it cool down before slicing it.
