8:09 never need to run "hot" water on to unfreeze. Just use room temp or even cool water. It will still be warmer than freezing and just enough.

Is it still ok to use the ice cream maker machine even if there is Tapioca starch? I'm planning to refrigerate the mixture overnight before I place in the machine, but I wonder if cooling the mixture with the starch will affect the texture?

It reminds me of one of my favorite ice cream shops. They serve ice cream like that too, but not plain. They cover them in marshmallow and torch them, sandwich them, etc..and the Thai tea flavor is my favorite! I miss their ice cream, so I’ll definitely have to make this 😍😍 thank you!

I've been wondering how the ice cream I see in the Asian dramas I watch, could be in that cube shape. This is pretty interesting 🤔 Thank you 😊❤️

Asian dramas? Do you mean Thai?
@nataliesue24852 жыл бұрын
@@hannahwalmer1124 No, I mean TV series on Netflix made from different Asian countries. There are a lot of Kdramas. But I watch Asian shows from other locations too. Thailand isn't the only place that makes cubed ice cream. It might be a little bit different in other countries, though.

Watched this one for like a 4th time and ur previous thai tea ice cream video as well. Glad that the orange colored thai tea era is not over yet.
When I make Thai tea I put the tea into a fine mesh strainer bag that is also used for beer brewing. You put the hop pellets into it during the boil to contain the mess. Any-who, after the tea has steeped I just remove the bag. Easy-peezy.

A QUICK IDEA - please make a series of videos like - using XXX in kitchen - for example star anise, lemon grass, tofu and so on. Often I buy somtn to prepare some dish and I end up spoiling the rest of it, just because I find it hard to use it somewhere else. If there was a lookup series, that would be extremely helpful.

I think if you used coconut milk to replace all of the milk products used here, and then use sugar, you should be fine.
